Celine On The Brain

I remember when I heard my first Celine album - that was Falling Into You in 1996. Before that I of course heard her songs "Beauty and the Beast", etc as released in her prior albums, but didn't really know her - I thought they were sung well, and the singer's name was kinda memorable. But after listening to FIY, I just listened to it over and over again and got hooked on Celine. Since then, I feel that her singing voice is the best - melodious, passionate, powerful, emotional, versatile - like food for the heart.

 

Do you think that your brain can be wired to like Celine songs - eg. after listening to her over and over again? Because now whenever I listen to her sing, I feel good. Like eating Chocolate. I compare all other singers/songs to Celine. That's probably why I don't enjoy American Idol very much.

Yep, this is certainly possible. I feel the same way, it makes me feel so good listening to her songs. My brain has adapted to her music and voioce whenever I watchg or hear others singing, Celine always comes to mind. She has a spot in one of the millions of brains cells.

celine's definitely on my brain. whenever I feel stressed I just listen to Celine and then I feel better

I actually love American Idol. But I think this is more of a Philosophical question. I believe that we are all determined and that there are determining factors that explain the reason we love Celine so much. Some of my determining factors may be because of the way I was raised and maybe because I can relate to Celine and those types of things. Anyone else take philosophy??? Maybe you can explain it a little better than I can.
