We then made a funny video and mailed it to the producer's attn. Two days after we sent the video we got a call from an Oprah show producer. She asked me lots of questions - how my roommate and I met (at A New Day), if we've heard the new album, how many times we've seen the show, what we've sacrificed as a result of spending so much money on celine tix, are we upset that it's so hard to get tix together, she asked about the seating at the colliseum, (we were going to Vegas the day after she called, so we were wondering if the Oprah show might show up in Vegas) --- then, SILENCE...we never heard back from the Oprah producer. When I had talked w/ her on the phone, I told her that if we didnt get chosen for the show, we'd love to get tix and we'd fly to Chicago on our own, so when we didnt hear from her after a few days - I called the Oprah show number and got a hold of the producer. She said the taping was completely booked and wasn't able to get us tix. We were pretty bummed...we know that the Oprah show only calls a handful of people, and we were lucky to get a call...but they really got our hopes up for nothing!! I think the show went in a different direction...b/c if they were looking to fill the audience w/ Celine's biggest fans, people from the forum would definitely be in Chicago right now!!! Too bad...they probably went w/ a sappy story like they always do! Kimberly Did anyone form here got selected for the Oprah taping??? It is today apparently (tuesday). Quote

Oprah always chooses sappy stories. I bet they will have someone from the Katrina region. And i can almost think that it is going to be how Celine's speech on Larry King Live inspired them or whatever. I guess we will have to see. Quote
