Kerry Elizabeth Posted October 14, 2007 at 09:49 PM Posted October 14, 2007 at 09:49 PM I had great tickets for the 10th of October ORCH 4 row bb 401 AND 402. I was so glad when I got there and found out she was going to perform. The concert was ggod but I thought she performed at about 50%. She didn't move around that much and she didn't do IIC. I actually thought that she still looked sick. She sang the first three songs and then before she started I'm Alive she apologized to the audience for cancelling the last week of shows. She said that she felt even sicker for having to do that. She said that when she thought of all the people that had spent money to travel there and get Visas and pay for hotels...she just felt sick to her stomache. She said that she has to make choices and that the doctors said she needed to rest. She said she was glad to be there that night, but she was still feeling sick. I thought she did well, a couple of flat notes in the begining songs and not as much dancing as usual. I liked the concert and the audience seemed to give her a lot of her energy. A lot of clapping and a couple of standing ovations. When the dancers come off the stage and dance in the aisles, one came up to me and we got to dance together. It was fun. He was really cute too! I didn't have tickets for the next night, so it was the standby line for me. I started standing at about 2pm for the tickets. I met some very nice people in line and had a lot of fun. I was hoping because there was one of me that I could get like one ticket for front row. The closer it got to the time, the more people started to stand in line. I thought I recognized this girl from here, but I didn't know her real name, so I started to kinda mutter loudly "Scully...Scully" Finally, I had the girl next to me in line that I had become friends with yell "Scully" really loud. Clare turned around and I was looking at her and I said "are you scully Dion form the web?" she was like "yah who are you?" So I told her my name and we started talking. About 7:15pm they started selling the standby tickets and I went up to the desk and asked to get the closest seat they had. The closest was Orch 3 row mm. I then asked if I bought two tickets what was the closest they had. They said Orch 5 row FF. So Clare and I bought those two tickets. I ran back to my hotel by the MGM grand and changed really quick and made it back at 8:15pm. The lines to get inthe place were so long. Like down the steps and through the slot machines. I finally found clare and we went in and the show was so much better than the night before. Celine had so much more energy and she was dancing and singing perfectly. She did apologize again that night, but it was shorter. It seemed like she just wanted to get on with the show and have fun. Not focus on that so much. She still didn't sing IIC, but she was performing much better. I wouldn't say at the top of her game, but she was definitly having more fun. She was to cute. I had a great time at the show with Clare. She was very fun to hang out with. I tried to get her to do the IDAN dance from the DVD, but she wouldn't. The sudience didn't seem that great that night. No standing ovations until after MHWGO. I couldn't believe that no one got up and danced during RDMH. I wanted to so bad on both nights, but no one else was. Thay all just sat down after LCMM. After the show Clare and I hung out by the dancers exit and I had my picture taken with the dancer that danced with me on Wed night. I also then went to the bar and had my picture taken with a band member. It was awesome. I didn'y have any tickets for the next night because I was going to see Kathy Griifen at Mandalay Bay. (might I had that she was so funny and did a little bit on Celine in her show). When that was finished I went to Ceasers to meet with clare for a drink. (Clare went to the show again that night). It was awesome once again. We watched some of the dancers leave and then got to have a drink with most of Celines band. It was a really good three days of Celine admiring. I had so much fun and met some awesome celine fans. They definitly helped pass the time inthe stand by line and made the wait bearable. Clare was really awesome to hang out with and she introduced me to lots of really cool people. Thanks Clare Also thanks Lisa and Carolann. I know you dont post, but sometimes lurk, so if you see this, I will e-mail you lisa really soon!!
