LD1977 Posted October 12, 2007 at 07:13 PM Posted October 12, 2007 at 07:13 PM (edited) I love Céline because of her voice, but also because of her enormous sense of humour. So I thought, why not bring our most memorable moments together in a new topic! Can be something that happened during a concert or show, but also things we saw on tv or in interviews. Let me be the first to add something! I have to tell you guys that I am not sure anymore if this interview was with Jay Leno or David Letterman. I think it was with Jay. I have it somewhere on tape, so I can look it up but I am sure more people will remember this. Céline was talking about the dress that she was wearing at the Oscars of 1997, the silverish, very sexy dress. She was talking about René, that he looked at a picture of it, a model was wearing it and this model had a "serious chest", according to Céline. And René said: "Oh no, you can not wear such a thing!" But Céline thought: forget it, I am wearing it anyway, I want that dress! And she ordered it without René knowing it. And then she put the dress on at the day of the Oscars and René saw her for the first time in the dress and he said: "Oh honey, I love the dress, you look so beautiful!" And Céline got angry because it was the same dress! It's more funny when you séé Céline telling it, but I thought this interview was hilarious. Specially the part about the "serious chest", hahaha! By the way, it was this dress she was talking about: See Oscars-performance in dress Edited October 12, 2007 at 07:14 PM by LD1977 Quote http://www.celinedion.com/celinedion/english/images/im_06.jpgRemember the name, because you will never forget the voice... Frida Posted October 12, 2007 at 07:40 PM Posted October 12, 2007 at 07:40 PM Did I mention she’s adorable? In one of her speeches she was talking about the rain (I think she said she has seen rain 3 times during her 5 years there) and asked for someone to come and wipe the floor cause there was (wasn’t) water on the stage and she was worried about the dancers.. so two men comes up with towels and one of them was Michel so he’s down on his knees “wiping” and she explains who he is and takes the other guy’s towel and says “this is the difference between my brother and me. He does it like that, I do it like this” and she steps on the towel and starts to like, in loss of better words, “shuffle around” with it lol . I swear to god, it was hilarious… so cute <3 This will always be my favourite Quote http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tcc2copy3_zps08f18352.pnghttp://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tccgallery-1.png

I was rolling on the floor laughing! what is "crockpot" anyways? It is a pot that slow cooks food. We use it for pot roast and veggies, or chili, or any kind of soup...also great for cheese dips and such, very good and makes meat tender as well! For me, one of my favorite funny Celine moments was on the Rosie O Donnel show when Richard Simmons was there in 1997. When Richard first comes out and swoops Celine up off of her feet, and Rosie yells out "PUT DOWN THE TALENT, PUT DOWN THE TALENT" LOL Then he tells Rosie he was in the dressing room and found out he was cooking with Celine, and then he got direahea! LOL! When they start cooking and talking about Richards low fat food...it cracks me up every time I watch it...you gotta watch it now...here is the link. Oh yeah, also when they fill the ice cream cones with cake batter and Celine licks it and turns to Rosie and says "Do we eat it now?" SAV02 Posted October 13, 2007 at 04:56 AM Posted October 13, 2007 at 04:56 AM Another hilarious moment on the "To Love You More" interview with Rosie, Celine is telling the story of when she was on stage and the strap to her shirt broke and how a fan threw a hat to her to cover herself up. Cracks me up how she explains it! Can't find it on youtube, but its definetely worth watching. Its another true Celine moment! Love, Posted October 13, 2007 at 08:39 AM Posted October 13, 2007 at 08:39 AM Celine's funniest moment was on the Wayne Brady Show, during the interview. Wayne was joking about how it would be like to get socked by Celine. Then, Celine assured him that she was soft. All of a sudden, she pretends to knock him in the face, and she hits her chest to make the punch sounds. :mdr: It was so funny! Quote

LD1977 Posted October 13, 2007 at 09:46 AM Author Posted October 13, 2007 at 09:46 AM (edited) Have another one, from the Dutch Tv-Show back in 2002. I was in the audience that da, but they also did show this part on tv! Céline was telling about the wedding and the big tiara she was wearing that day. And that they had to sew it in her hair, because it was so heavy. But one of the pins made a little cut on her forehead. She did not think about it anymore but a couple of days later she came home, honeymoontime, and she said: "Hello honey, hi sweetheart, I love you!" to René. But René looked a little worried at her and said: "You have got something here, is it your period time, do you have a pimple or something?" And she said that she took a look in the mirror and she had a huge bump on her forehead, the size of an egg. The little wound obviously got infected. She said: "I was completely deformed!" And then she added what she said to René: "It's too late honey, this is what you get!" It was soooooooooooooooo funny, the look on her face when she was telling it! I loved it! And one of my personal favourites is her speech about the "teleprompters" of course, in Vegas. NO ONE ever called me a "teleprompter" before! Check it out here, post #18 at the first page: My Vegas-review Edited October 13, 2007 at 09:47 AM by LD1977 Quote http://www.celinedion.com/celinedion/english/images/im_06.jpgRemember the name, because you will never forget the voice... stevo Posted October 13, 2007 at 01:05 PM Posted October 13, 2007 at 01:05 PM Hehe. We need youtube links to all these!!! I laughed alot during the Miracle Ellen interview. When she throws herself off the chair and does the Elvis lip on the floor- "I don't often get out of Vegas so when I do I just go crazy!"- (cue Elvis lip) Her behind the scenes warming up with Ellen was funny too- and La Boheme- so unique. Can't find it on youtube either. Quote

Immensité Posted October 13, 2007 at 09:09 PM Posted October 13, 2007 at 09:09 PM I saw the interview on youtube when she was a guest on the Arsenio show(I think that's his name)...and she talked about being in Italy and trying to find a place to eat pasta(her and her friend I think)and they're being followed-and they thought there was bad guys, but it was the Sony guys looking for them I can't remember but I think it was something like that...I laughed so hard at that. It's not just what she says-but the way she says it. Another moment-was the moment on Larry King when she talks about Katrina-I cried so much the first time I saw that, and I still watch it sometimes...because she said so many good(and true) things. And I still cry everytime I watch that...Celine is truly a wonderful and true person,in every way I think.
