Pop beauty NATASHA BEDINGFIELD has unleashed an embarrassing secret - she's a massive CELINE DION fan.

 

The SINGLE singer has successfully won over a loyal following in the UK with her cutting edge brand of pop music.

 

So she's reluctant to expose her pop influences, fearing some of the names she mentions may provoke a baffled response.

 

She says, "I know I should keep this a secret but she (Dion) is something of an icon to me."

There should be a group, like AA for stars who have a difficult time admitting Céline is OK to like or love

There's every reason for Natasha or other young singers (eg. Destiny's child etc) to look up to Celine, just as Celine looked up to Aretha, Barbara, and even Whitney.

Here is an excerpt from a recent interview to Natasha, who is now promoting her album in the USA:

 

The singer/songwriter was asked recently if she liked Celine Dion, to which she responded: “I think every female singer should listen to Celine because she has such amazing control.”

 

American media translation: ‘I know I should keep this a secret, but Celine Dion is something of an icon to me.’
