When I was there in March & she canceled the word came very late, like 5pm because she was really hoping she'd feel well enough to perform. Well if she performs Sat & Sun then those that were ticketholders for the canceled shows will get priority on the standby line for tickets. When the show I went to was canceled they put me in the front of the standby line only behind others who had tix for canceled shows and I got in. You gotta get there early tho. So that's a good policy as long as you can show proof, like a receipt or printout from Ticketmaster. I didn't have mine because I gave them my tickets to be refunded, but the guy at Caesars went and looked up my info & gave me a printout. They were really nice about it all. The bad thing was that I had 3rd row Orch and wound up in the back of 1st mezz but I was thrilled to get to at least one show!! Quote ~J O E Y~

It's not only nasty diarrhea but vomiting too and feeling sick even by the smell of something. I lost like 11 pounds in a week due to it. She must have eaten something bad or caught the virus somewhere else. Celine Dion has been forced to cancel two performances of her Vegas spectacular this week, after being diagnosed with a viral infection. Last November, the Titanic-voiced singer canceled five shows due to mycoplasma bronchitis, a highly contagious respiratory infection, and in May 2006 she canceled a week's worth of gigs after contracting a rare ear disease called labyrinthitis. Disappointed fans will be able to refund their tickets or exchange them for a later date...though not that much later. Dion's final New Day performance will take place at the Caesar's Palace Colosseum, created in her honor, on Dec. 15 of this year. The show first opened in March 2003. I think it should also be noted that it is also since she became a parent. Most parents will agree that children pick up lots of bugs and illnesses at school from other kids, unfortunately, they usually get passed onto the parents! This could also be a factor in why Celine is getting poorly more often. I do hope she gets well soon though, I hate "that" kind of illness!
