Two little doubts

First:

 

Why in my cds A L'olympia and Unison, in WDMHBN lyrics, there are "extra" lyrics? Its just before the last part:

 

"I know that out there somewhere

He waits for me

Someone who's searching just like me"

 

Second:

 

I imported my "D'eux" in the american version "The French Album", but it doesn't have the lyrics

Does D'eux have? I should have noticed why the price was under D'eux...

Sony is very careless. I believe there was no editor. You can see a lot of lyric lines in "the colour of my love" that don't appear in the song.

 

My "Let's talk about love" bootleg has a repeat of "I hate you then I love you" lyric. Sick!

This isn't about Sony's editors being careless. When lyric writers write songs the words can come out in many forms. Verses and/or sentances can be created that the lyricist feels will add emotion to the song. After the song (or poem) is written it is then sent to get copywritten.

 

However, when a singer records a song they have a tendency to change things around, take out lines, add lines of their own, etc. This is usually done with the songwriters' permission. However, because the lyric was copywritten a certain way that is how it legally must appear in a booklet. Yes, the song lyric could get re-copywritten with the new or deleted lyric, but this costs extra money and time that really is not needed.
