I checked out the company, it's one of the largest independent producers, according to their website. I'd sign up if I was in the UK.

I'm currently working on a BBC1 Saturday night prime time series and am interested in talking to some of the biggest fans of some of the most successful recording artists of all time. We are currently searching for the countries biggest Prince fans - the people that know all there is to know about the artist: from their songs and how they performed them, to what outfits they wore and when.

 

I would be keen at this early stage to speak with any 'superfans' to find out what makes them one of the UK's biggest Prince fans and potentially, be involved in the show.

 

I can't reveal too much about the series at this early stage, but if this is something you or someone you know might be interested in, please e-mail me some brief information about what makes you/them a 'superfan' (pictures welcome too).

I have just had a phone call from Alice who is dealing with this, she was very nice and asked me loads of questions about me and Celine, I had quite a lenghty conversation. She couldnt tell much but they are researching for a new TV show (I think for superfans as per my last reply)

 

I soo hope one of us gets picked B)

Yes, that thing with Prince seems related, it's the same company. Anyway, hope Celine meetings are involved. This is cool! I wonder why I was the one who got the e-mail, I'm not even from UK :giggle: But I can't complain, maybe she found my website or something.

Oh God! She phoned me too! Was on the phone for nearly 30 mins! I'll die if I'm on TV about Celine. Like BoyBlackUK, she didn't say v much bout show- I said I'd love to be part of whatever they were doing (it is a BBC programme) and she said she'd definately get back to me after they had compiled everything.I don't want to get my hopes up.Eeeeeek!

 

P.s I said about the forum as well and she said it was cool we had all heard bout it from there. She was v nice.

There's the work address there, everybody e-mail her on that, not on the hotmail address I had the admins to remove. :)

Hi Guys...

 

Just contacted Alice from Endemol, regarding an update for the show as its been a few weeks, and she has informed me that they are dropping ''celine/celine fans'' from the show... with no reason?!?!

 

I cant believe this after the time and effort most of us who applied for this show have taken, talking to these people, sending in our stories, photos etc... then not

even having the decency to contact us to let us know!!!

 

Instead the are featuring artists/fans like, Elton, Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Robbie Williams, Rod Stewart, Freddy Mercury, Tom Jones, Cliff Richard, Lionel Richie, Madge, Whitney, Cher, Dian Ross, Tina Turner, Kylie, Mariah, Britney, and Dusty Springfield.

 

what a dissapointing two days its been for fans... :(
