Hope they'll play it on Vh1 soon, it's the only channel I have that could play her video. Quote

jacwar58 Posted November 1, 2007 at 07:22 PM Posted November 1, 2007 at 07:22 PM Ok Guys I also found out early last week that Amy Winehouse was dropped by the makers of the new James Bond movie, as she was to sing the theme tune, so I let Sony uk know, and apparently Sony in the states are on the case to see if Celine could possibly have this opportunity.... Darren. Leona Lewis is in line to sing the next James Bond theme, it has been reported. Producers are rumoured to be considering the X Factor winner after dropping plans to hire Amy Winehouse. A friend of the singer commented: "Leona's beaming from ear to ear at being asked to be part of such a huge movie. "She thinks it's a real honour to follow in the footsteps of some of the world's biggest female names including Shirley Bassey, Sheryl Crow, Madonna and Tina Turner." A spokesman for Lewis's record label Sony BMG explained: "Leona's management are in talks with various movie producers at the moment for a number of projects." Looks like Sony are concentrating on someone else. Quote http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q222/jacwar58/Celine%20Dion/100_1696.jpg

Hilda Posted November 1, 2007 at 09:22 PM Posted November 1, 2007 at 09:22 PM oh celine on bond that'd be quite cool seen as the new style bonds are actually quite good and not AWFUL like in the past. But to be fair - if she doesnt get it....shes like the queeen of movie themes she hardly needs another does she haha. Quote
Shaun Posted November 1, 2007 at 09:30 PM Posted November 1, 2007 at 09:30 PM Absolutely Tom, she doesn't need a movie theme. It would be great to see her songs on radio and TV purely because they are great music and not associate with some movie. Does it bring something for the promotion? seems weird they make it album of the week but take it off the B-List maybe this is because album of the week means they will play various tracks and it will be back on the b list next week I would have thought it be better to have album of the week, the week the album is actually our rather than 2 weeks before Quote I never even knew the song the orchestra was playing........ Cheerfuljane Posted November 2, 2007 at 10:39 AM Posted November 2, 2007 at 10:39 AM Celine will also appear in an interview tomorrow on the ''This Morning'' show on ITV1. This Morning just started and they said that an interview with the Saturday Night Diva`s is coming on at 12noon.They showed the interviewer sitting in the theatre with them but I didn`t see Celine. Maybe her segment will be separate Quote
Shamrock_1982 Posted November 2, 2007 at 01:57 PM Posted November 2, 2007 at 01:57 PM Apparently Celine appearance on Children in Need, which will air on Novemeber 16th is a short message only, not an interview as such and there will be no performance... The BBC Radio 2 interview with Ken Bruce will go out next week but for more info. check the beebs website. An Audience With Celine Dion, will air on ITV1 in early december. The exact date has yet to be confirmed.... There were also rumours that she did an interview for gmtv, which I can confirm is not true. And the rumour of a new music video for the next single from ''taking chances'' is 100% untrue, as they still have not decided on the 2nd single, I've been told!!.. Thats all for now folks. Quote
johndu68 Posted November 3, 2007 at 05:40 PM Posted November 3, 2007 at 05:40 PM Late in the evening, Céline Dion gave an interview of last minute for the Quebec TV, and another for the french news paper "Le parisien". Friday to 11.30pm, Céline joined two accomplices of Jean-Jacques Goldman, Jacques Vénéruso and Érick Benzis, that waited for it in a small studio to re-register a half-verse, in French and in English, of a duet with Charles Aznavour (Toi et Moi, You and Me) that she sang with Charles Aznavour two years ago. A business of 20 minutes... ...I forgot, Céline recorded Simply the Best of Tina Turner Quote

A business of 20 minutes... ...I forgot, Céline recorded Simply the Best of Tina TurnerWhat? Yes, that's in an article on Cyberpress. The thing about Simply The Best... The way I understood it (from French) it was just a comment from the writer, sort of she's done all this in only one day = Simply The Best... I mean, I didn't understand from that article that recorded this song, it was only a witty remark. I was wondering if she got to see JJ while in Paris. It's nice they met, even if just for work. Man, she's got the energy of a 16 year old in heat Quote
