Back on track in T.O.

I know that you might think this fits into the "Official TC voting" topic, but this is actually based around the major English-speaking part of Canada - the place of which Celine is really starting to fade away. She hasn't made many English television appearances (in Canada) for so long (for promotion) and, let's face it, Celine's losing some popularity in Canada. But here's the chance to get her voice back out there with a fresh new tint to it. Contact some of the DJs on these radio stations. These are the most popular radio stations in Canada's biggest city - Toronto (which is technically Canada's Hollywood). It'll give Celine a lot of publicity if she makes it onto their playlists.

 

1. 98.1 CHFI (Toronto's light favourites.)

2. 97.3 EZ Rock

3. 104.5 CHUM FM (This is the everything station - from R&B to Country. A lot of people listen to this.)

4. 99.9 Mix FM

5. 93.5 FLOW (This is more of the R&B and rap station, but it's still worth a try... )

 

Help T.O. fall in love with Celine all over again!

Request "Taking Chances" to be played on each of these stations. :clap:

Ok, I already resquested at EZ Rock, MixFM and CHFI. Requested twice for all the 3 of them. I couldn't figure out how to request on FLOW and didn't know to who I was supposed to request on CHUM. Can anyone help here.

Don't worry too much about FLOW, but CHUM, it doesn't matter.

Yay! I just got a response from a DJ at CHFI. Apparently "Taking Chances" has been played three times already. Here's what he said in the e-mail.

 

hi erika - thanks - you should be listening to chfi - we've played it several times already - bob debuted it a couple of days ago - erin & mike played it yesterday - and michelle played it today.ian

I got some better news! I just got several more replies from two of the DJs on 98.1 CHFI.

 

Hi Erika

I played it for the first time on Monday afternoon. Interesting new sound for her. It's being played once a day at this point - the next time is tomorrow evening between 8 and 9 - then on Friday morning between 11 and noon.
