Tcherno, think with me. Why would she want that? She has done that a million times. She has everything any gal wishes for. She has health, love, family, happiness, success and money. She has an amazing fan base that loves and supports her and buys every single record, dvd or book she makes.

Why would she want to have a #1 record or single. C'mon, she's the biggest female artist in the music history. She doesn't need that. She's more in a Barbra Streisand, Elvis or The Beatles state now then a Mariah Carey, Britney or Kelly Clarkson state. She simply doesn't need it anymore. She's done all she wanted and continues to do so.

Well, everyone likes to be praised. But I think it would be enough for her to produce an album that her fans enjoy and will sing along with on her new tour, and if the critics like then that's great too. She doesn't need another Grammy or another Music Award, she has plenty on her shelves already. And she certainly doesn't need any more money. So being the biggest and the best doesn't make any difference because even sales of 20 million copies wouldn't make her any cooler or more successful. She wasn't cool in the 90's and she wouldn't be cool now, so whether she is number one or number 20 has little difference on her position in the industry.

 

And besides, I doubt Celine would be interested in the work that would be needed to get her back to the levels of commercial success she had in the 90's. She would far rather be sat at home with her family, and who can blame her? She's been there and done that. Let her enjoy the ride like she wants to! We really should be thankful that she's still around making music and touring because apart from the fact I don't think she would want to be working that hard again, I think if she had to do the stuff she used to do she would call it quits and walk away from showbusiness tomorrow.

You're definitely right...she doesn't need it over and over to get farther and more farther with the music she does now.I agree completely...she has made her success and now she simply enjoys in everything she does...and i think she deserves to get rest and be more with her family,that's most important...without family you're nothing...and in any way why we discuss about it?
