amelie Posted September 7, 2007 at 03:11 PM Posted September 7, 2007 at 03:11 PM After 2004's The Tension and the Spark a great album with poor sales, something that happens very often unfortunately, Darren Hayes managed to top that release with "This Delicate Thing We've Made", a double album (2 hours length!) released on the 20th of august worldwide on his own label (after leaving SonyBMG last summer). Unlike most double albums, most if not all the tracks on the album are something to look for.As always Darren's album is brilliant vocally and lyrically but the music and production is better than ever before!!!Personally i've made a playlist containing 17 of the 25 tracks which fits in a single cd and its the following: The future holds a lion's heartOn the verge of something wonderful (1st single)NeverlandA fear falling underWho Would Have ThoughtWaking The MonsterHow To Build A Time MachineCasey Listen All You PeopleMe, Myself And (I) (2nd single soon to be released)Lucky Town Step Into The LightSing To MeBombs Up In My FaceThe Great Big DisconnectWords Hope you will listen to it and share your thoughts i think the 1st single On the verge of something wonderful has kinda a similar vibe to taking chances Quote

Célinefull Posted December 6, 2007 at 12:57 AM Posted December 6, 2007 at 12:57 AM this album failed, worse than his last solo album before it did sadly, I only saw him on the TV a couple of times when that first single came out, then nothing! PrincesseJen Posted December 6, 2007 at 04:47 PM Posted December 6, 2007 at 04:47 PM (edited) this album failed, worse than his last solo album before it did sadly, I only saw him on the TV a couple of times when that first single came out, then nothing!Failed? It might not have sold that much right now but this album is a masterpiece. He isn't mainstream as he use to be in Savage Garden so I didn't expect this to sell that much. However this album 100 times better then his first two solo albums.
