David Foster 上周六（9月1日）出现在 A New Day Show，与 Celine 一起录制了 Because You Loved Me。David Foster 钢琴伴奏，Celine 演唱了 Because You Loved Me 的完整版。据说，这是为以后将播出的一个关于 David Foster 的节目录制的。

As promised, here's the scoop:

Last Saturday, there were posts everywhere by the entrance to the colosseum that there will be some video recording of some sort and that some of the audience might be part of the recording. The show started as usual, but Celine did not launch into BYLM right away. Instead, she came to the front of the stage and finished the entire length of IACBTMN! Then, she proceeded to tell the audience that she has a special guest that night; someone who she has known and been part of her singing career for the last 20 years. She told the audience that tonight they will be filming a special for David Foster and that we should all make last minute touch ups because we want to make sure we looked good on film! She was in such playful mood and made couple of jokes about some latecomers not having enough seats. Anyway, she then introduced David Foster and they reminisced about the good old times while showing slides on the big screen. One of the slide showed a very young Celine, and David made a comment about her hair being dark then. She said "You should have seen it 3 years ago!" David also recalled that during a particular recording he had praised Celine and had used the slang "bitchin'" which Celine took as a negative comment, seeing that she was just learning English at that point.

They also showed a picture with Barbra Streisand, David and Celine together, and how David made it possible for Celine to do a duet with her singing idol.

At one point, Celine told David that he is aging very nicely and that he looks so young and handsome. David said that he has had 3 wives and maybe he and Celine could get together after she and Rene split. Celine said "Well, we'll have to see about that."

David and Celine went up the raised part of the stage where he sat down to play the piano and she sang BYLM. It was truly a wonderful performance of the two of them and so nice to see them together! However, they never really disclosed when the David Foster Special will be aired or what occasion it was recorded for. I gues we'll just have to tune in.....

There might be some other tidbits that I've missed and I'm sure Diana can help fill them in since she was also at the show that night.
