Who's gonna wait until they have it in their hands?

I was thinking that I'll wait until I have the album until I listen to the tracks. With D'elles I listened to and watched everything that was leaked or posted and while it was good fun, the album release wasn't as exciting as it could have been. I think I'll listen to the first single off Taking Chances, but after that I'll abstain and merely watch everyone else's excitement. I've never really done this before and my will-power isn't particularly strong...I may die- no new Celine songs and no lovin' as my Boyf is away in Bristol and I'm here in N.Ireland. Turbulence ahead...

I dunno... I might listen to the TC clips one time, like I did with D'Elles... I quickly forgot them and I still was so excited to hear the full album! I listened to 1F4T in full before the album release and it wasn't the same to finally get the album and knowing the songs aready!

You'll cave, we all do! I told myself the same thing before D'elles came out and it was so much fun reading everyone's comments about the songs, but quite honestly I got to wanting to hear them myself so bad that I caved. Kudos if you're able to do it, but it's going to be harder than anything you've ever done I think, heh.

I paid for TC and if they decide to put clips and the full songs there I'll be getting my money's worth and listen. But if it's just tracks that leak then I'll try and resist.

i dunno, i said that i would try but i have TC also and i'm craving for at least a 30 sec. clip. but i am proud of myself for not listening to clips of D'elles did have the will power for it!!

I dont know...I go back and forth with this. Those who know me know I don't have the willpower to wait, but if I did I'm not sure I would. Plus like Del said, if I'm paying money to TC for exclusives, then I should take advantage of them.

 

Maybe the answer is to just listen to the 1 minute clips and wait to hear the full version when the album comes out...

I will want to hear the first single, naturally, and I will listen to any small clips when they come out on TC.

 

I remember the awful frenzy when all of the ONE HEART tracks leaked. That was dissapointing and probably hurt the sales.

I for one would rather not listen to clips of songs but to full versions. The problem with clips is that they make you memorize them badly and then when you hear the full song it's so weird cuzz you at one recognize this one certain part of the song and it gives you an ANNOYING feeling.

Getting to hear clips of an upcoming album is one of the luxuries we actually get from being a paid member of Team Celine. I'm going to take advantage of every opportunity available to get my money's worth. But if you have the will power, I wish you the best of luck!

with delles i only listend to SNRQ and Immensite... the 30 sec clips i let my boyfriend listen to them... i was in 2 rooms away, doors shut... and sometime i could hear 'something' heheh

if they wait this long with a preview of TC, then they never release 30 sec clips of the whole album

I only listened to the full version of SNRQ a handful of times and 1 time for both Immensite and A Cause. I'm not taking any chances with the English album either will just listen to the first single and nothing else!

I'll def listen to whatever they put up there on TC - short clips or full songs. I'm DYING to hear anything from

the new cd. I'm a patient guy, but I'm not gonna wait for the full cd if there's tracks or clips I can hear

in advance (esp since I pay for TC). The thing is that sometimes the songs are totally from the short clip they give us and the full song - so to me it's all good and I'm anxious for it all!!

I kind of did that with D'elles. I only listened to about 4 songs during the Team Celine preview before the CD came out. But with the English album, I don't know if I can do that. I know I won't listen to the previews a lot, because I like to hear the songs from the CD rather than on the computer. Maybe I will only listen to the preview once or maybe not at all depending on how my time is when we get the previews. But I will listen to the song/single "Taking Chances" a lot when we get the preview.
