IM SICK OF BLACK AND WHITE ON CDS

 

That outfit is horrible it looks LIKE a HILLARY CLINTON Pant suit and it looks bad on her Cmon Celine this is a Rock CD Be more gutiser and Wild Jeans and a Cool shirt would be nice but not that! IDK my opinon ONLY

I don't agree, to be honest, Céline is wearing clothes that become a fashionable icon. If you look back at Céline's style she has beeen a trendsetter without the recognition of such. Look back at the videos and you will see, boots over trousers, ankle boots, trouser suits, dresses that show off a long neck line without being ostintacious Céline has simply been ahead of the game long before it became mainstream. You only have to look at what what she wore at her first concert in 2 years in LA in 2002, the big jewellary, chains, bracelets etc have been mimiced ever since with people like Jennifer Lopez in 2007 taking the glory for the newest 'style', even though Céline did it years before!!! Céline should be recognised for the style icon that she is!!!

Exactly! I have been thinking the same thing. Celine is ahead of time with her style. When she comes out wearing something, they say she has no style, yet a couple of years later all the big stars are copying that style. It's crazy. I think the media is really set on hating Celine and not giving her the credit she deserves, just because she's so much bigger than everything else, without having any hearbreak stories, breakdowns and all the stupid things media relates on most of the other stars. It seems you have to be drunk and drug addict, have a big #ss or rely your entire career on sex to get some attention from the media and be considered a trendsetter. It's so so so stupid. But hey, we all know the truth!

At first it was the same title as a Shania Twain CD... NOW the same cover as a Mariah CD? GIVE US A BREAK!!!

Could be a LOT better! Just take a look at some of the avatars and siggys some of the members of this forum have created!! Especially Pepillo90!!! I mean... they photoshop a LOT of celebrity/models pictures printed in magazines... why don't they go all out on Céline's cover. Something with color that will POP off the racks?!!

 

You guys will have to excuse my NEGATIVE comments today... thanks to mother nature... I'm in the "half empty glass" mood today!!

I just love it! I love everything about it! The style, the hair, the make up etc... It's different and it had to be!

It goes with the title of the album and the change in music style they are talking about. Can't wait to hear this CD!!!!

For me it's amazing. A little bit too grey in the back ground. Why not a dark red or blue, but who cares? For one time it's not her over-romantic look in her face. I like covers like these: FIY, TCOML and now TC.... When the songs sounds like thes photo I am a real fan of her new album...

Everybody! We have to be very very happy about this change because Céline needed to change something!

Her style needed to have a change! A new look!

 

So, we don't have to look what's wrong for us or whatelse, because if Céline likes it, why she shouldn't change her hair or her style!?

I mean, we have to be very close to her and difend her from bad judgments of people who don't know really the intentions of Céline!

 

So, instead of criticize her own change, why don't we try to understand the real meaning of her changes??

So we don't have to say "Céline made the same cover of Mariah's Fantasy!"

What's similar?? The position? What?

 

Who cares! We just have to admire Céline for all that she is and not for all that she wears or that she changes!

You know, I don't wanna blame nobody..It's just my personal thought that you might share or less!

After looking at the HQ photo, I change my mind about the cover. You can barely see her face on the smaller version, it's "so Celine" The cover is creating a lot of buzz and that's what it needs, like others have said people are going to see the cover and go "who is that?!.."

I have mixed emotions about the cover art. I'm not crazy about the wild looking hair. It kind of looks bizarre to me, although I know it makes sense with it being more of a fashion shoot look. It kind of reminds me of those Phil Spector court photos a while back! I do like the fact that she seems to be going for a very confident aggressive look and attitude which I love. But in the end I don't care if the album art had nothing on it as long as the songs are good. Let's hope they are and Celine can have some new hits.

Wow, THIS is the cover? I love it! It's really contemporary, and she looks really good. After the cover of Miracle being so motherly she needed something on the other end of the spectrum this time. I think it's her best album cover yet. I'm so excited for this CD.
