Paul et Virginie... Your view on love songs from Celine

Recently, like many of you, I've been rediscovering a lot of Celine's work that didn't hit big with me at first.

One of these songs is VIRGINIE...ROMAN D'AMOUR. I fell in love with this song right before I spent July in Tours, France and had the song in my head the whole time. It is such a beautiful song, a song about love in the old-fashioned form.

Do you, personally, think that your view of love is altered due to the music that you listen to? For example, in this song Celine longs for the love of the olden days... LE GRAND AMOUR. Are you the same way? Do you believe in a sense of romance that people feel doesn't exist anymore? Does it exist anymore.

This song has somewhat altered my view of life and love!

That is what we love about Celine, she is like a part of our life. she opened my eyes with her songs in many ways.

and I think love is love, many people as you said, that doesn‘t believe in romance and love in these days

Love feelings and emotions, god put it in the human in the first day of his life, but maybe soo many people nowadays don't know how to treat this feelings inside, and that what makes people say: love and romance doesn't exist anymore. and I want to say that Paul et Virginie is really a beautiful song, love the whole ( C'est pour toi ) album.

( you know... when I finished writing this reply, I read the topic again, and I think you are talking about virgin love )

Is what I think is right ?

anyway thanks
