Other than Love, Celine's all about Family - which she places so much importance on, and which is why she took the 2 year break to have Rene-Charles and be with Rene, and then took the new job in Las Vegas so that she need not travel around, and so that she could have a regular predictable scehdule to allow her a more normal family life!

 

Besides, she grew up in a big family - 14 kids, 2 parents, not to mention the relatives. I think she'll be great in a family show, which would also give plenty of opportunities for her to showcase her very special talent - Singing of course!

 

Perhaps a sitcom - but then everyone would still see her as Celine. I think if she's a host or ina show as Celine, it'd be better.

 

She's a great Singer, and I don't think there's any need for her to "be an actress" to prove that she's an "artiste". She doesn't need to do that. She's already proven herself in her field.

She should be in a Romantic Comedy and Cathy can be her love interest haha YEAH!!!! Now..THAT'S A MOVIE!!! Wait...it would be better if I were to get some action too...hmm..I could be her adopted daughter that happens to be diagnosed with a Oedipus Complex.

I can't make up my mind... I'd say that Celine would be great in Comedy or Romantic Movie... But on the other hand I think she would rather act in Family Movie...

 

In fact she did it.. She played a small role in "Touched by an angel"...

this is a very nice+interesting question!!!!I would like to see her either playing in a comedy or something really dramatic....she could play Callas or Piaf as it was mentioned once!!!!!Or Celine could play an ordinary woman that would face hapiness or something difficult...actually she might be good in different characters....

I think she is good at making people laugh but she said clearly on her french radio interviews, she wants to play a dramatic role. She did very well on that Des fleurs sur la neige, I was impressed. I hope she chooses a quality movie, please not a comercial romantic comedy as we see Jennifer Lopez... so boring... we all know the ending...

Singer Celine Dion has signed a contract of 4 films with Sony Pictures. Canadian star has wanted to do acting for long. - I think it is a natural extension(sp) for my career, explains Celine.

At first Sony has planned a leading role for Celine in a romantic drama.

Would be very cool, but yeah, it's Seiska, so it's not the most reliable source.. :msn-tongue: :laughing:

I didn't vote; I think Celine would do great in more than one role. A romantic comedy or love story seems to be more, "Celineinsh." But then again, she such a great mom and family-type person, it wouldn't surprise me if Celine did a family film or even a Disney movie. And I guess a drama would be okay, just as long as it's not "overly-dramatice," or too much like a soap opera... :P :rolleyes:

hmmmm.....I don't know.

 

I would love to see Celine in a Romantic comedy mostly because those are my favorite types of movies. But I also think she would be really good in a drama, she is just soooooo dramatic (a good example is when she preforms "It's all coming back to me now" she is such an actress).

 

I was also just talking to a friend the other day about how I thought it would be reall cool if Celine provided the voice for a Disney movie. I was thinking that is something she could do after Vegas, on her time off.
