Life is great!

 

I just wanted to share with you guys about my time in Vegas tonight. It’s my birthday and I wanted to celebrate with Celine. I was fortunate enough to get my hands on front row seats, so I was very excited. There’s no better way to celebrate my birthday that I could possibly think of!

 

The anticipation of the show was amazing. We got seated probably around 8:00. There were a couple of ladies next to us that were apparently upgraded to front row seats, so they were very happy about that. Then there was this annoying girl behind us who was really loud and held on to the back of our seats the entire show, it was kinda crazy.

 

Anyway, as soon as Celine came out I was excited, my heart was racing and I couldn’t believe how amazing the show was. Celine was on and her voice was incredible as always. Nothing really too much about the show stands out in my mind right now, other than the part where she walked and baulked like a chicken (I think during IW or LCMM, can’t remember exactly which one). When she sang IS, I remember her holding the note at the end a lot longer at other shows, but it was still pretty amazing none the less. The crowd was pretty good, not the best, not the worst that I’ve seen. There was a lot of delayed clapping, which was kinda weird, but overall it was great.

 

So, in the occasion of it being my birthday, I thought I’d wear a birthday sash to let Celine know it was my birthday. I was quite pleased because there were no little kids up front and no old grannies, so I thought I had a POSSIBILITY of getting the rose. Although I wasn’t sure if Celine saw me. I felt her lock eyes on me a couple of times, especially one time for about 5 or 10 seconds during IIC. It was amazing. The show ended all too quick, before I knew it, she was singing MHWGO, and the show was over. She took her bow, took the rose and started heading down the stage, and would you believe it? She was coming right to me!!!! She held out the rose and I kindly accepted it. We hugged for a while (I really didn’t want to let go!!!!) and I told her this was the best birthday present ever! I couldn’t believe it! She is so amazing and allowed me to have such an amazing birthday. Then the funny thing was that I checked my e-mail and got the TC birthday message from Celine which said:

 

Happy Birthday Sarah!

I hear you are celebrating a birthday today! I hope you have a wonderful day full of fun...And for the coming year, I wish you health, happiness and good times!

Little does she know how amazing she made my day!!!!

I am attending the next 4 nights of shows too, so I’ll be sharing anything else that stands out to me!

Wow Sarah, that is simply amazing! I really cannot say what I would do if I saw her heading towards me with the rose, but I do believe I would probably faint. Just from over excitment. I have fainted many times, and usually when I get over excited and my adrenaline starts pumping to fast, I faint. LOL, can you imagine Celine if someone fainted on her? I'm so happy for you, and let us know what the next few nights are like!!! I'll be there soon too!! I can't wait!!!

First of all happy birthday and second, congrats on getting the rose, what a birthday present, I know what an amazing feeling it is!!

At 1st its disbelief when she walk towards you, then shock when she hugs you, then what an adrenaline rush when she walks back onstage, and you realise what just happened!!! lol

I couldnt sleep that night I got the rose, I was on such a high, it sounds silly but its true, its hard to describe that feeling...

Hey Guys, thanks for all the birthday wishes, so nice of you all! I was at the show tonight again. I had a great seat, Orch3 Row B, seat 310, right on the aisle, so it was nice. The weird thing, there were two seats next to mine that were completely empty! I couldn't believe it. Celine was incredible once again. She stayed to her standard scripts, didn't talk about anything else at all. She held the note at the end of IS tonight a lot longer, that was nice. Sometimes I just wonder how she does it??? It's incredible! The audience was pretty good again, gave another standing O after TLYM when she stops singing. Although one bad thing about being in rear orch is that the people aren't as energetic. I guess they just come to the show to sit on their butt. I sat down probably at the last quater of LCMM because nobody by me was left standing, so pathetic! The rose was given to a girl in the front row who appeared to be 10 years old or so. I'm glad she wasn't there last night, lol!

 

Anyway, I have an extra ticket for Sunday Aug 26th if anybody is interested. I decided I wanted to sit closer, so I ended up buying a better seat. It's located 2nd Mezz4, row A, seat 417, so its front row of the 2nd Mezz, aisle seat. It is a pretty good seat, I've sat there before, but I just wanted to be a little closer to Celine for my last night. I will charge face value for the ticket which is $105 (prices with all the service charges, gotta love ticketmaster!). So just send me a PM if interested!

Hey Guys, just got back from night 3 of Celine, once again she didn't disappoint! What an entertainer and perfomer she is! I was really impressed during SM, because for a period of about 10 secs the music was completely out, it was just Celine singing a capella! She went on to sing without missing a note, so I am not sure if she even knew what happened, but she didn't make it obvious at all if she did. The audience was great. The people in AA 401-404 were amazing! The stood up almost though the whole shows, what fans and what energy for Celine. I cannot believe how amazing RDMH is, every time I see it, I love it more and more! She really shakes her booty in that one! Celine stayed with her script with the exception of saying that she's the youngest of 14 kids and she loves to talk, "don't get me started" then she also said what a joy it was to be there and have the fans sing along and dance with her. I can't wait for the next two nights! It will be great! Celine amazes me more and more!!!!

So, life sucks! Now I am on my way home, waiting in the airport for my flight. Celine is all done (until my next trip in December) and now the post-Celine blues will sink in. I saw the show the last two nights. It was great both nights. On Saturday Kimberly and I had front row 409/410, so we were very happy! I stood up quickly for a standing o after Celine was done with TLYM, and I got a wink right away, it was great. I was singing along and on the edge of my seat the entire time. When Celine laid on the stage after IW, when she starts LCMM, she was right by us. Kim and I were on the edge of our seats and stood up even before she asked for us to, it was a blast! Lots and lots of eye contact, winks and RDMH was amazing, my ABSOLUTE favorite of the whole show! Our goal for the night was to try have have Kimberly get the rose because she never has gotten it before. Unfortunately Kimberly didn't get it, but the lady next to me did. Saturday was probably one of the better nights. Celine was in a crazy/perverted mood. At one point during RDMH, she made an obscene gesture with her tongue, and all the dancers yelled really loud at the same time, it was kinda crazy. Then at the end when she goes off the stage, but is still standing there, she was bending over with her butt in the air, kinda strange, but still funny!

 

On Sunday, I had Orch5 FF 508, while Kimberly was over in Orch3 FF. We were bumbed that we didn't get to sit together, and what made me even more upset was the fact that during the entire show, in my row, 501 & 502 were completely empty! It must have been a broker that didn't sell the tickets or something, what a shame! I had never been in orch 5 before, but it was pretty good. There were some fans in the section that did a lot of screaming and cheering for Celine, which is always great. I was really sad as soon as the show started because I knew it was my last one. Nothing really too much stood out for this show, other than the fact that Celine was on, and was sounding absolutely amazing. She performed a flawless show once again. There were a lot of French speaking fans in the audience yelling to her, and she responded back as she always does. She stayed with the scripts most of the time too.

 

I am so bumbed that I have to wait until December to see the show again (for the last time ). It's always so hard to leave Vegas after having such a great time, but as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end.
