I am currently thinking of writing a letter to both René and Franco requesting that the giraffes be added into the final show so that we get to see them before the show fades away. My question is whether or not you would like to see the giraffes added either before or for the last performance of "A New Day..." However, they were cut at the last minute, thus they never made it into an "official" show. they were in the show? However, the public was never given a chance to see them and voice their opinion. If we were to go with the statement you just posted we would never hear the rare or unreleased tracks. Anybody remember "Is Nothing Sacred"? I guess we could just say that it's not good and that's why we haven't seen it on an album. All I'm trying to do is get it put into at least ONE show. The final show would be a great time to do it. Bring out everything that was taken out through the years, numbers that never made it, elements that were slashed (the giraffes), etc. ...Joe... Quote

If I remember correctly, the Giraffe's popped up on screen and Celine was supposed to joke with them. Not needed as she jokes with the audience. It's more personal this way anyway! I honestly don't have anything against them appearing I just don't think it would add anything to the show. Far rather save the time for another song. Quote

She joked a little with it, saying It's a little to late to be joining the show..., and the peanuts at the gift shop are really good. It was all really cute and funny. The giraffes disappeared and she sang "A New Day Has Come." Celine comes out with a red nylon dress and the giraffe is waiting for her, she says it's her friend "Hashel". Six more giraffes appear and at the end three pairs make hearts with their necks and one puts a kiss mark on the screen.They were in the show during the rehearsals, and there were there in the show CBS filmed on 17th March. But we never got to see them as they weren't used in the broadcast. They were cut before they made it to the real opening night on the 25th and never mentioned again. I was just using that song as an example to show that if something isn't even given a bit of a chance then something great could be potentially falling by the waist side. And I agree with you, I don't think they'll ever make it into the show, but it would be kind of cute to see. I just wanted to see how many people would like to see them if given a choice.
