djs31982 Posted August 15, 2007 at 02:09 AM Posted August 15, 2007 at 02:09 AM I have the opportunity to purchase tickets in Orch. 4 row AA for the Dec.07 show. The price is $1483 per ticket and BOTH tickets have to be purchased. I know there are some of you who've been in AA, is it really worth that price, because I'd have to find one of my friends willing to fork out the money for their ticket to go with me. I was there back in June and was in Orch. 3, row CC (aisle beside Orch. 4) and the seats were great and of course you can buy seats comparible to that for much less. So yeah, is it worth it? And by the way, just joined the site yesterday...its really cool to find such a cool group of people...Thanks! Love, Posted August 15, 2007 at 04:17 AM Posted August 15, 2007 at 04:17 AM It's a personal decision, really. If you have ample amount of money, then go for it.If you have to scrape here and there for the money, then don't. Don't slave yourself over Celine. She's not worth it. Quote
nano Posted August 15, 2007 at 05:13 AM Posted August 15, 2007 at 05:13 AM I wouldn't pay that much for a front row seat. You may be closer to her but she tends to look 'over' the first two rows, so people sitting in the 3rd or 4th row are getting a lot more eye contact from Celine. but like Love, said it's a personal decision. I'd buy them instantly, without considering otherwise just for the privilege of AA seats! But, that's a lot of money for concert tickets - $16 per minute! You would also have more chance of receiving the rose at the end of the show too - that's a special event in itself. Quote

MustangSven Posted August 16, 2007 at 01:53 AM Posted August 16, 2007 at 01:53 AM $16 per minute ?So that's roughly $50-60 per song.Ask yourself, would you pay that to sit 15 feet away?I agree with Love, if you've got the "disposable" cash then go for it.It's too bad you haven't seen her before when you'd only need to spend $225 or so.As a previous and future first-row seater, it's worth every penny - rose or no rose - eye contact or not. She's amazing up close !! Koolan Posted August 16, 2007 at 03:24 AM Posted August 16, 2007 at 03:24 AM I'd rather use that $$ to see her 6 nights from anywhere in the front orchestra and still have extra cash to spend on gambling/food. keny Posted August 20, 2007 at 05:30 PM Posted August 20, 2007 at 05:30 PM That seems a bit steep. I got front row tickets about 1/2 hour before the show at the box office. It was the regular ticket price. $225. Personally, if I were rich it would be worth it. However just an average working stiff, eh, not so much. I would not have paid over $300 if I had to. The seats are great while you are there, but like all seats, as time goes on the memory still fades and front row is no mor vivid in the memory than 5th row. I have the opportunity to purchase tickets in Orch. 4 row AA for the Dec.07 show. The price is $1483 per ticket and BOTH tickets have to be purchased. And by the way, just joined the site yesterday...its really cool to find such a cool group of people...Thanks! I agree for the most part... $1400+ for a front row ticket is a bit insane! 1. The show only lasts 90 minutes therefore as someone mentioned before your paying $16 per minute!!2. Although front row seats are amazing (I've sat there multiple times), 3rd row seats are just as amazing if not more.3. The likeliness of getting the rose, in reality, is slim. So I definately wouldn't spend that kind of money on a slim chance.4. If it were me and I had the money to be able to pay that much for 1 night, I still wouldn't. I'd buy a regular price ticket and use the rest of the money for something more productive (bills, charities, ect...)5. Finally, you will also have to find another person who can and is willing to spend $1400+ on one night too. Thats just IMO! Quote http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b119/Piglot82/heartsig1.jpg
Nmj Posted August 21, 2007 at 01:39 AM Posted August 21, 2007 at 01:39 AM I agree with you Piglot I have sat third row before and thats amazing and before the show started and the place was full i went near the stage just to look and Mego was going through is book and sort of practicing I even put my FOOT on the last stair to the stage and I felt POWERFUL...I mean imagine the rush Celine has on that stage-Nmj Quote

MustangSven Posted August 21, 2007 at 02:48 AM Posted August 21, 2007 at 02:48 AM The secret to getting a front row seat is to be willing to sit by yourself.I've been to Orch 3 AA 301 twice and the other side once in Orch 5 AA 507. The Orch 3 AA was the best as this is the side where Celine sits down to sing If I Could.Next month I'll be in the middle in the second row and alll of these were purchased through Ticketmaster several days and possibly weeks after they went on sale.Of course all of the good ones are gone now.Good luck. Oh I def agree with Vic, it's much more fun going to several shows and sitting anywhere in Orch or 1st Mezz then to blow it all on just one show but that's my feelings. You have to go with what you can afford - if I was loaded then I'd pay it, but I'm not so I'd go to several shows instead. Its actually very cool to see the show 2-3 nights in a row and sit in different places. You get a very different feel for the show when sitting in the Orch then you do when sitting in 1st mezz. I love 1st mezz because you can see the WHOLE show so well and appreciate ALL the effects and dancers. Of course, up close is awesome because you are so close to Celine. In December I will experience both again and I can't wait!! Let us know what you decide! Who is offering those tickets at such high prices? Are they a credible source? Quote ~J O E Y~
DianaLuts Posted August 21, 2007 at 11:21 PM Posted August 21, 2007 at 11:21 PM Lol, i saw some front row seats today at $2,440 a ticket and that is steep even by my measures!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The most we paid for front row was $1000 per ticket for Nov 29th and Dec 2nd shows. But then again we didn't have to pay any broker commission fees or shipping as we are repeat customers. Quote
