Why USA always has songs number less than other countries?

In Falling into you, USA has only 14 songs while other 16.

What's more, In A New Day Has Come, USA is the only country lacking Super Love.

 

 

 

Any reason behind this phenomenon?

I've always wondered what the logic behind it was???

 

It's the same for most artists.

I assume it's because they are aiming at different markets.

as far as i know its because USA was always cheaper for albums, in the UK up till recently albums were £12 - £16. and in the USA they were much less, same for the rest of the world. so when an album was released sony and everyone else thought how can we make more money from the USA fans, i know we will put extra songs on the internation version so they will buy 2 copies.

but the last couple of years with the prices comming down and the growth of downloading its not worth it to record an extra track for the international album, so now we all get the same.

i 've understand that...... I mean Superlove is one of Celine's hippest trax to date and why the h*** was THIS ONE not on the american version???? Should've been Single there in place of IA!!!

Well it's very common for albums in Japan & Australia (or even the UK sometimes) to have a bonus track.. but this thing with Céline is quite rare..

I'm not sure of that myself, but it kinda ticks me off, because I would like to have just one CD with ALL the songs on it. I wish they would start doing that. But maybe it is so people will buy more than one copy...I do buy them all, so I guess they make more $$$.

I hope that one day we do all the songs in her next album in the future. But for now I guess I'm on a treasure hunt for her other songs for the meantime.

We didn't get Superlove in the "A New Day Has Come" album....
