thevoice Posted August 11, 2007 at 07:57 AM Posted August 11, 2007 at 07:57 AM knowing celine and sony - all of the songs that were mentioned DWMF is one of the worst recordings in celine's career - the song itself is amazing and meaningful but the arrangments on the other hand her live rendition of this song is out of this world - it's like she is singing a diffrent song .IBIY and LYHD - let's not even go there ... overall - i hope we'll get only fresh songs tho i know chances r slim . Seriously there's absolutely no indications whatsoever she will include ANY of her previously released songs from her previous albums on "The Woman In Me". There will be evidently some cover songs as usual and bunch of new songs with new sounds, inlcluding new sounds in "I Knew I Loved You" which is a splendid and classy with its musical score. Its been long enough to release another one. They could include 'Run like a River', 'Would I Know' and other previously unreleased songs. Personally, i think all of the above mentioned songs belong on a collection and none would really fit into a modern album (with the exception of LYHD which all of my non-Celine-loving friends seem to like alot.). I Believe In You - I'm torn on the Il Divo duet, 'cause an english version might sound like 'I hate you, then I love you' and I cant stand that song... opera singers just shouldn't go near pop music... I knew I Loved You - is gorgeous but should NOT be included (eventhough I know it will be) Dance with My Father - is so old (in music time) that I cannot imagine they would waste the space on the disc, UNLESS they truly arent happy with her new recordings.
