The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is hosting Keith's Bike Ride for Cystic Fibrosis - The Sequel. This fun ride will take place, Sept. 15, starting from Fort Normandeau Park near Red Deer, cycling down the C and E Trail and returning to Fort Normandeau for a barbeque and prizes. Exciting grand prizes include airfare for two from WestJet and two tickets to see Celine Dion's performance in Las Vegas and many other prizes. Market anniversary

 

The Ponoka Farmers Market will be celebrating their 31st anniversary on Aug. 15. The market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the arena complex. Free cake will be supplied by the market, coffee by Ponoka Ford. A barbecue will also be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A burger and drink can be purchased for $2 with the proceeds going to the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program.
