The Tour guide called me yesterday to say that we would have enough time to stop at the chocolate factory for free chocolates and at the botanical gardens

 

At no extra cost

 

It gets a big YES from me

Yes guys! Do the chocolate factory thing. I did it last year. But you only get one or two pieces of chocolate candy, I ended up buying $40 worth of chocolate from the shop after the tour

It's a tough decision.

 

Looking at the "seating" thread it seems that almost everyone will be here on the 14th.

I've been reading other threads and it seems like most people are only arriving on the 12th and 13th.

Shops or one of the restaurants at the Planet Hollywood hotel??

Can't wait for the trip with all of you. We (the dutchies) arriving december 11th don't know yet if they all coming with me.

Pick-Up: Imperial Palace 9am - 14 December - Friday

 

First Stop: Hoover Dam

We`ll take the Discovery Tour down into the dam.

 

Next Stop: The Chocolate Factory Tour and a visit to the Botanical Gardens

 

After which we will stop at Lake Las Vegas for about an hour.

Shop, Eat, Drink and be merry

 

We will get back to the Strip at around 3pm

 

Cost Per Person:

Bus Hire - $14

Hoover Dam Tour - $11

Gratuity - $2

 

TOTAL: $27

We could leave out the chocolate factory and botanical gardens and visit The Valley of Fire instead?

 

Let me find out if we can fit it in.

It `s the only place that I can think of that is close enough for us to fit in.

Our itinerary is flexible but if we keep the bus longer it will cost us more.

 

What does everyone think?
