What if Celine hadn`t met Rene?

If Celine hadn`t met Rene or if he hadn`t liked her singing, what do you think would happen to her? I think that maybe some other manager would agree to work with her but I doubt about their success. I mean, Celine`s great, her talent is immense, but she was just a child at that time. It was too risky for a manager to produce such a young artist. I don`t think that someone else would have Rene`s courage and faith, his total commitment. He made Celine who she is now professionaly. Maybe personally, too. What`s your opinion?

I think Rene fell inlove with both the artist and the person in Celine.From their first meeting...

That's why I think he did everything for her.Not because of money or promotional reasons.Simply just for Celine and because he believed in her...

 

I think they're a wonderful couple and a great team!...

she would have still got a contract and been hugely succesful, but then she meets me in 2006 at a new day, gives me the rose n the rest is history...lol

I think If Celine hadn't meet Rene and had a another manager I think she would be a great singer but I don't think the manager would have enough guts to make her famous. But I think that Rene is a great manager and had allot of co rouge to mortgage his house for a young singer to produce her first c.d. and I think they are a fantastic couple they love each other allot and they seem to have allot of fun tougher in a good way of course plus they seem to have a great sense of humor as well. good question!even if I don't like them as a couple they are an extraordinary team..céline was meant to become the best singer in the world because her talent is so amazing..anyway she's been very lucky because sometimes talent is not enough..she has had everything: a big family who has strongly believed in her,an extraordinary manager who has been ready to do anything for her and who has created a superstar..

I really don't think she would be close to what she is today without Rene.

 

A good career is based off of really good decisions....and Rene has made some amazing ones. He makes choices, and then makes it happen.

 

But Celine certainly would've still made records....and would've been famous. But perhaps not internationally and not nearly as soon as it happened.

From what i gather Celines brother rang Rene to see why they hadn't heard from him since submitting the demo...He hadn't listened to it but the phone call changed that.. So technically Celine hadn't met Rene, rather persistence, pursuing a dream, brought them together.

 

It begs the Question "what happens by not following our dreams"

I am sure Céline would have been discovered sooner or later, but it is not probable she would have been well-known outside of Quebec
