Ronny83 Posted July 19, 2007 at 09:25 AM Posted July 19, 2007 at 09:25 AM Divas bury the hatchetBritney reportedly is helping mom-to-be Christina on club and musical project, putting feud to restJuly 19, 2007BY BILL ZWECKER Sun-Times Columnist For years, one of the hottest ''feuds'' in the music world was the rift between former Mickey Mouse Club members Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. Now, however, it sounds like the two pop divas have made peace -- and a source close to Aguilera tells me it's likely the singer's pending motherhood (which she has yet to confirm) has something to do with it. Here's what we know: Aguilera reached out to Spears, and the two reportedly have spoken on the phone, e-mailed a lot and smoothed things over. So much so that Spears is both hosting the upcoming Las Vegas opening of the LAX nightclub (in which Aguilera is a part owner) and supposedly has agreed to contribute to the proposed CD of original lullabies Aguilera is developing. Other musical celebrity moms said to be on Aguilera's ''wish list'' of collaborators include Madonna, Celine Dion, Faith Hill and even Gwyneth Paltrow. Though the Oscar winner isn't an established singer, per se, she did croon tunes pretty admirably in ''Duets'' -- and, after all, is married to Chris Martin of Coldplay. krazy_kool_dude Posted July 19, 2007 at 09:41 AM Posted July 19, 2007 at 09:41 AM lol as if we need Celine to do another lullaby song! Still it'll be cool to hear Celine and Christina together. Christina has a great voice, i just hope Celine teaches her how to use it properly (at long last!). Quote http://img345.imageshack.us/img345/4136/siggyju5.jpg

Macaronie Posted July 19, 2007 at 12:11 PM Posted July 19, 2007 at 12:11 PM I disagree, I love her music and voice, but she can sing really out of control or give it a 'too much'. I prefer 'X-tina' the way she sings on 'Save me from myself'. Quote
kathyc25 Posted July 19, 2007 at 01:01 PM Posted July 19, 2007 at 01:01 PM Oh wow, this would be kinda cool. Celine has said that she likes Christina so I`m sure she`d do it. The people and the critics seem to trash everything Celine comes up. But when some young artist like X-tina comes up with something...let it be the same what Celine did....they'll always find it "Different" and "What-Is-Needed-Now" thing!! But I like some songs by Christina. She sure has one powerful voice, though out-of-control most of the times Quote

Mozinha Posted July 19, 2007 at 07:31 PM Posted July 19, 2007 at 07:31 PM How cool would it be Celine singing with Christina? Christina is one of the few singers I can listen to nowadays without wanting to throw the radio off the window. I think she is quite good and her last two albums were brilliant in very different ways. This would be a great opportunity to have 2 very talented people together. RLAAMJR. Posted July 19, 2007 at 11:29 PM Posted July 19, 2007 at 11:29 PM That's great! Well Christina knows that Celine's "Miracle" album was a hit so that may be the reason why Christina would like to have Celine be part of her lullaby album. But for me,I think, it's because Christina knows Celine sings well and has a beautiful voice. Christina may in fact be looking up to Celine when it comes to singing. And Christina has her own style though sometimes people would link her to Mariah. But the voice are pretty much different and Christina has more danceable and likeable songs. I really like Christina's songs. It's just that her personality doesn't really allow other generations to like her. Christina should change her personality, look clean and profeesional, try to record with powerful ballads and her album will sell better. Let's have Kelly Clarkson as an example. Her best-selling album "breakaway" sold more than 11 million copies because of the song "Because Of You." Tha song is really a diva song. Christina's songs are really good. My favortie song from hers is 1. Come On Over and 2. Fighter. If she only make videos and her being clean ( even in just ballad songs ) in appearance would have sold more albums. Like "The Voice Within", though i like the video, it would have sold more albums if she just looked clean. I think, Christina should try releasing more ballads and lesser danceable songs, or in the same number. Quote
Davey84 Posted July 20, 2007 at 09:52 AM Posted July 20, 2007 at 09:52 AM oh yeah... forgot to mention... they'll probably use Brahms Lullaby from 1996... and then add some new X-tina vocals!
