Celine mentioned that shewas interested in portraying both artists at some point in her career. who do you think Celine would do a better job at portaying in a movie. i think Callas, simply because Celine's voice is more suited to this type of singing more so than Piaf Quote

Teodora Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 I think she should do Callas. With help from makeup she looks like Callas, we have proof of that, her voice is in the same range (both sopranos). And Piaf was recently done and done very well by a French actress, there wouldn't be a point in doing a movie about Piaf for at least 5 years. A really good movie about Callas was never done, if you ask me, so Celine should do it. And she should sing herself in the movie, not use Callas' recordings. Quote
