They loved Piaf and were thrilledto have another singer to equal & even surpass the vocal prowess of Edith. If any of you folks have never heard Piaf sing please go online or to the store and listen to this incredible woman. She was also called the French equivilant of Judy Garland. She mirror Judy both vocally and with her tragic life, I think that's why they both sang with such deep emotion and the fans ate it up - esp us gay ones. Quote ~J O E Y~
