Thomas Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 I usually download at 500-600kbps depending on the site etc. Never get anywhere near that here though, usually around 50-150kbps and much lower when there's something popular that everyone wants. Although I haven't downloaded anything from here for a while so maybe this was the speed on the old server or something. I'll download something tonight and see if it has changed. Quote

Koolan Posted July 9, 2007 Author Posted July 9, 2007 Other UK users from other sites report very fast speeds downloading from the same host as this one. I guess it also depends on the ISP. Our new server could accommodate at least 5 times the load of the previous one so the traffic and the number of users downloading shouldn't be a factor.
