Also any of your parents driving you insane right now? No now, but when it was time for 1999 show in Munich for LTAL tour my mom drove me crazy. Thank god i am self sufficient now and don't have for money or permission to see Celine in Vegas. I took my mom to see AND on December 28th, FRONT ROW and she wasn't even happy. She did say that Elijah was the best dancer and that she liked his talent. Quote
celinerific Posted July 3, 2007 at 03:00 AM Posted July 3, 2007 at 03:00 AM Not really... my mom keeps telling me that I have to get my own plane ticket if I want to go. The only thing is that I haven't found a decent job yet because I want to focus a bit more on school. So... there are still some obstacles. nano Posted July 3, 2007 at 06:39 AM Posted July 3, 2007 at 06:39 AM well..they can't do anything about it now. My life and my money.. Of course they keep telling that I'm wasting my money and that why on earth I'm going back now that I've already seen the show. Well..they won't ever understand it..it's a Celine thing. Mozinha Posted July 3, 2007 at 06:14 PM Posted July 3, 2007 at 06:14 PM Went I went to Vegas... my mother did everything she could to keep me from going. Everything. She even stopped giving me money to eat so I had to spend the money I was saving for the trip. I went too many days without eating. I didn't even buy clothes for myself. I look terrible in the pictures of Vegas because... my clothes were old! After I came back she didn't speak to me for 3 weeks. Clari Posted July 5, 2007 at 01:20 AM Posted July 5, 2007 at 01:20 AM Wow Monica, I didn't know that you had go to through so much to travel to Vegas (other than expenses). When I was 14 my mom couldn't afford it/I was too young to travel alone in a bus to San Antonio,Texas (four hours away). But now I have my own money, I don't have to ask permission or anything. She doesn't like the idea because she's very paranoid because like most parents say, "you're all I have", but she's not telling me not to go or anything. She actually offered to pay my plane ticket, but I told her to keep the money for herself. Occasionally, She just tells me I'm nuts for wasting money to go see Celine again, because ONCE was enough. (Not in a super negative way or anything... we'll see what happens when December rolls around.) I can't wait! Quote http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v226/CelineSmiles/hamster.gif CLARiSSA Xxx... neilg Posted July 5, 2007 at 08:19 AM Posted July 5, 2007 at 08:19 AM Omg, I didn't think anyone would stop you from doing what you enjoy, not least your parents! My parents wouldn't let me go to see Céline when she performed at Wembley Stadium in 1999, when I was 14. My parents aren't really fans, and I was really annoyed at the time because they said I was too young. I was like, 'oh come on! It's a Céline Dion concert! There are not exactly going to be drunks and riots there!' So then, when I was earning money over the summer holidays in 2005, I decided to book a holiday to Las Vegas. My sister was going to come, but then became ill, so my dad took her place. Not being a Céline fan, my dad wasn't so enthusiastic about going to the show! But after the show, he told me how much he loved it! Now, I think my parents feel guilty that they stopped me from going to Wembley, and then forced me to go all the way to America to see Céline. When I told them I wanted to go back, they went out to the travel agents and booked everything for me! Both of my parents are coming with me this time and they're really looking forward to it! I thought they would be annoyed that I wanted to go back, becuase it's so expensive, but they've been really good! Quote

Yeah I went through the exact same thing when Celine was on the LTAL tour and FIY tour here in the UK. I really wanted to go, I was so obsessed about going, my parents said I was too young to go by myself, yet neither of them would come with me and none of my friends would have gone as they were never Celine fans. OMG this still angers me now just thinking about it. I didn't speak to my parents for weeks after they said NO to both tours Quote http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm31/celinedion82/Emilylove-signature-1.jpg
