When I turned it on, Fergie was singing. Needless to say I have much better things to watch them her. I enjoyed Nelly Furtado later though. The highlight for me was The Swan Lake. After that I switched the chanel and watching Titanic for the 1823928971341th time.

The undisputed highlight of the show for me was P Diddy. He captured the mood of the day perfectly and his set was moving, appropriate and well performed. He said all the right things and the song was extremely well chosen for the occasion.

I saw the song list online. Elton John said he would never sing Candle in the Wind after her funeral. I read that the princes asked him not to perform the song because the concert was a celebration of their mom's life- don't know if the source was reliable.

 

 

VH1 aired the entire concert in the US-hopefully it will repeated.

 

Céline wasn't asked to perform, if I am not mistaken.

I watched it, but the stupid TV channel that broadcasted in Romania kept interrupting the show with ads and stupid comments Anyway... My favourite moment was Rod Stewart singing Sailing, with the entire stadium. I just love it when that happens, a whole stadium singing

I watched(ing) it 3 times...once when it aired LIVE, second after 4 hrs and NOW !!

 

The best is the Finale...though Diddy's I'll Be Missing You was really great !!

 

But now I don't like the Princes anymore ...they didn't invite Celine

And although I usually can't stand Rod Stewart I have to say that Sailing was realy good!!

I only watched when Nelly Furtado was on. I loved Nelly but her backup singer was so damn annoying. She pretty much ruined Nelly's songs for me.

Yeah, i saw it in HD too and can't believe how huge it is.. 70 000 peoples looks very impressive!
