Hi folks,

Guess what?

 

I'M IN VEGAS!

I arrived yesterday evening, from a 10-hour journey in an overcooled train and bus to be smacked in the face by the Vegas inferno. But even warmer was the reception I got from Ra'mama (Ramona) when I arrived at Caesars. We spent a little of of time at Caesars, and then we took off for Lake Las Vegas, where I stayed with Ramona, for the evening. We had also had other guests drop in to join us. It's amazing to witness firsthand how kind Ramona is to all her friends to accommodate everybody in her condo.

 

This morning, we had a wonderful breakfast together at Montelago's Breakfast; and she and I, had an orange juice toast (FOR THE FIRST TIME VEGAS) - which you will see in picture soon. We will have more fun things for the two of us this afternoon.

 

Ramona is such a dear friend, and she is our Ra'Mama, right Vic?

This evening, I will be joined by my dear friend from Belgium; who recently graduated from a school of Pharmacy - Congratulations, D! And he and I will see Celine tomorrow evening. This will be his very first time, and I feel honored to experience with him. :)

We are joined today by Kim and Taylor. They spent the early afternoon KAYAKING :giggle:

 

Ramona and Kim were able to see the show this evening along with Tal, Sophie, Celi and Keira. I heard that everyone who went thought Celine performed VERY WELL this evening. There was a show faux-pas, with a Barney-the-Dinosaur-like lady that got up to beg Celine for a hug! :laugh:

 

Taylor and I didn't go to the show tonight, so we hit the Forum shops.

 

Mama Mona surely know how to take care of others. :wub: :yes:

 

Are you going to the show tonight? How about Tal and the gang, when you will be meeting them? :partyguy: :msn-wink:

Yes, I did get a chance to meet the four gals briefly at Slice. It was wonderful to meet them in person after years of corresponding online. :)

 

And one last thing: Please keep my friend from Belgium in your thoughts. His plane got delayed and the last we were in contact, he was still stuck in the East Coast of the US. So, he hasn't arrived in Vegas yet. :(

I am praying that he would make it to Vegas soon, so that he could sleep comfortably and enjoy his vacation. :)

Thanks, folks! :)

 

My friend has arrived safely to Las Vegas.

Last night, after midnight, I called his hotel to check on him and he had arrived just five minutes prior.

We lost communication because his cell phone was stolen. I'm so glad he and his traveling partner were safe.

And I get to see him in two hours! :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

I just got home from Vegas. I'm incredibly exhausted, because I had only 3 hours of sleep from a peaceful evening - early morning out with my best friend :)

 

Let me just say... this was the BEST Vegas experience I have ever had. :w00t:

Before I'm off for my long nap, I wanna show you guys the hot pants and rope belt. :lol: There are some entertaining stories to go along with this outfit. Soon, I will share a review of the show, and a memoir of my experience in the last four wonderful days.

Sorry I didn't get to see you again, Sophoan! Lucie and I didn't make it into the show last night. The standby line was crazy long and just as we were getting towards the box office a little after 8:30, they had totally sold out.

 

Can't wait to read your review! Plenty of detail so I can feel like I was there!! LOL.

No worries, Erin. It was just very nice to see you again and meet Lucie on Friday night, and talk a little and give you both hugs :)

I do plan on going back between now and December :) So, we shall meet again soon :)

I'll take that as a compliment, because I know it's from my Davey... :)

 

The pants are actually very thin burgundy stripes and white strips that are close together. And because the stripes are close to each other, the pants appear pink.

 

but it's alright...

REAL MEN WEAR PINK! :giggle:
