The interview started with a general describtion of her situation in Vegas and the fact that there aren't many shows left, the first sentences and questions were about how Céline is now a different woman than 5 years ago and how Vegas transformed her into someone more confident and also a little bit of a "gambler" as she said considering they did a risky thing by commiting themselves to a Vegas deal that huge. But it was a success evidently and it reassured her in her thinking. Although she is aging she is feeling very good always saiyng the best „is yet to come“ and well aware of her own age.

 

About the tour she confirmed the dates and known venues and asked about having another child mentioned her mother as example of a woman who got her last child pretty late. She will try, too.

 

She was pretty avoiding concerning the new album in english as she hesitated very long before telling the host: „No, I think I will keep the producers and their names for me“. Even the second time he asked her about it in a different way she gave a diplomatic and dodgy answer.

 

There was much talk about D’elles and its concept so it means much promotion, the majority of the interview was about the tour and the tour. Nothing we haven’t heard before, especially emphasizing the Nathalie Nechtschein song that touched Céline the most of them all.

 

The best question of it all was where you could hear Céline gasping for air and really thinking about it: “How will you manage to put all the D’elles songs together on stage live? You will come back to your own universe now (tour) and it’s closer to you than this big Vegas extravaganza.” She said D’elles is a powerful statement in her career at this very stage and at her age s she missed the answer almost completely only mentioning that she will sing songs from both – her new French and English albums – live on stage on this new tour. She considers this new tour as something fully different than the Vegas show, she already consulted some ideas with the director Jimmy King and her usual tour troupe. Nice of her was also to mention her musicians that “support her all the way at any time”. She said she would not let an album like D’elles pass by without notice and she has recorded songs to sing them live.

 

“This will be my first (of the new Céline) world tour.”, she said.

As standard she mentioned her dream about playing a role in a movie (Ocean’s 13 ).
