jackieathompson Posted May 24, 2008 at 09:34 PM Posted May 24, 2008 at 09:34 PM Seeing Celine in Paris was fantastic, what a show and what a crowd, they would not let Celine start "My Love" for a couple of minutes, she had such an ovation and was overwhelmed for a while. My first time visit to a French concert but Celine did sing several English songs, I know the French one's though. I had such a fabulous time, also with WendyB and her husband too, thank you both, the weather was gorgeous.The best apart from Celine was as I was strolling around the arena about 4.00pm on the afternoon of the show, there wasn't many people about and then I saw coming towards me Andre Coutou and Yves Frulla from the band, as they passed my shoulder I spoke to Andre and they both had no hesitation in their response, stepping back and having the time for me, they were very friendly, both shook my hand, we spoke a while about Manchester/B'Ham/Paris/Las Vegas, then Andre asked me to take a picture with his camera of the two of them with the arena in the background and then they each took their picture with me. (See Below) I was so thrilled, I keep thinking it must be my lucky year coming after the Birmingham soundcheck and Celine signing my programme too. So you never know what's around the corner and I was obviously in the right place at the right time. Wish I was there tonight but looking forward to Amsterdam. My Celine pics are not that good, have a few but can't get them all on here, also below is a pic of Celine statue at the Grevin Museum. Quote

I have been waiting this event for long 12 years, because I'm the big Celine's fan since 1996. It was my dream, and finally it came true!!! I had really good seats, close to the stage, and I came down really close to the stage while Celine was performing "S'il suffisait d'aimer". It was amazing!!!! I was crying all the concert The show was wonderful, really cool and hot. Celine was like a queen, she looked very beautiful. I think that she looks better nowadays than several years ago, her style is perfect, but she is always beautiful. Her voice is incredible, and it was so much pleasure to hear it live. I was surprised that she performed the songs "River Deep, Mountain High" & "Lady Maramalade". And it was really so sad that she didn't perform many songs from "TC", and other songs. I wish it could last forever! I'm so happy that I was there, but her live concerts like a drug - I wish to be on every concert, to hear her great voice & to see her beautiful eyes... I spent 2 weeks in Paris and Dublin and I saw her in 20,21,24,25,27 and 30 May....These days were amazing, we saw RC, Rene, took pic with him, the bodyguard cut me of the pic lol but no problem, I put my hand in his hand and it was amazing, btw big hand lol, Rene is so nice and calm....took pic with Mego, got her autography in front her hotel in Paris and manyyyyyy other things. Her voice, her presence, her feelings, everything was perfect!!!!! Shes so beautiful on stage....I'm uploading some videos on youtube and I will share them here soon......
