Mine was almost 24 hours during my freshmen year of college. We were playing ping pong and shooting pool at the basaement all night, before you know it, night had turned into day and classes resume. Of course, I had a hard time staying awake. Those were unforgettable times where I slacked off and stayed up late to chill with my friends. I had a flight from Vegas to Boston during the whole night and I couldn't sleep on the plane because I hate flying and I was so scared. And then I had to wait 15 hours on the Logan Airport and then I had another flight from Boston to Ponta Delgada (my city) at night and I couldn't sleep again.I was so tired, it was so boring, awful!!! I got up at 5.15 friday morning and then in the evening had some friends here and we watched DVD till 4 am. I didn't go to bed then and I'm still awake and feeling pretty good But my longest time without sleep was 2 days. I had to work friday night, got home at 7 am saturday morning and couldn't sleep the whole day for some strange reasons and had to go back to work in the evening.....I wasn't myself anymore that time. The worst part if that I got home at 4h30am and I had to work at 6am. I did my day's work went home and didn't sleep till that night as I was too tired to sleep. I've never done that again. This was because my first child was a live wire (still is) and would NOT sleep at normal times. I was absolutely knackered. Work, then come back and download, sometimes work overnight. So longest without sleep is probably about 41 hours, but then sleep average 4 hours a night throughout the week.
