Love, Posted June 4, 2007 at 05:12 AM Posted June 4, 2007 at 05:12 AM I know some of you are loaded... and I mean LOADED with VHS's, DVD's, recorded digital media files, and downloaded media files of Celine, amassing a collection of her appearances, interviews, and performances in the media. Now, I know we have YouTube, but let's disregard that for now. What I would like to know is: - How often do you spend time to sit down and watch those videos?- Do you plan a "Celine Movie Night"?- Take a WILD guess without exaggerating: How many hours of Celine Dion do you think you have on video? I remember in the last century ( )... I mean, the late 90s, when I first became an admirer of Celine's, I would try to record as many things as I could! I would sit and watch VH1's "Women First" or Entertainment Tonight or Motown Live. I was able to catch some nice and candid things, such as a clip of Celine singing "Stayin' Alive" from LTAL World Tour at her stop in LA in '98 and how she wants to meet John Travolta someday... Anyway, I have two boxes of VHS's stored somewhere in my house, and they have not been unearthed ever since the last century! Quote
changepas39 Posted June 4, 2007 at 05:56 AM Posted June 4, 2007 at 05:56 AM oh cool...i used to do that too...i have mounds of vhs's with celine all over them...lmao! Quote http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f131/changepas39/f28ed0e8-0230-434c-9df9-6801977de1f0_zps821ef336.jpg
Clari Posted June 4, 2007 at 05:59 AM Posted June 4, 2007 at 05:59 AM (edited) Ohhh I have almost 30 - 6 hour VHS full with Celine from late 1996 - present. I'm disappointed because I've missed some of the most recent shows (Summertime, The View from last year, Oscars). I also have some radio show interviews/premiers from the LTAL era recorded on cassettes. I even recorded... :shy: :shy: the Celine phone message from that number that used to be on the back of "Falling Into You", remember the calling cards that they sold? Back in the day I used to watch some shows EVERYDAY. Especially the Grammys 1997 ! Lately I haven't watch anything at all. I haven't planned a "Celine Movie Night" but it sure sounds like a REALLY good idea. Any Celine fans wanna come down and watch with me? Hours? Maybe... 200ish? Ever since this forum and YouTube, I haven't the need to dig through that box! but maybe one day, just for fun, I will go through it and watch the things I recorded! Tell you what -Dr. Sopha will prescribe for you: The Panasonic LX110 Portable DVD Player Just load up some DVD-R's with your favorite video files in any format (whether MPEGs, Windows Media, or regular video DVD's) and you should be able to watch whatever you want! :giggle: :giggle: Or, does company policy prohibits that also? *sighsss P.S. RLAAMJR. Posted June 27, 2007 at 04:08 PM Posted June 27, 2007 at 04:08 PM I actually haven't watched any of Celine Dion videos unless I get access on the internet but not really that often. About once a week. But if I only have my own computer with internet access, I'm sure I'll always play her songs and videos whenever i can. And I'm pretty sure she'll always be number 1 in Delta FM. Well, I'll vote for many hours just to get her on top, that is if i have my own computer which i can bring with me always and has internet access. That's how crazy i get for Celine. Quote
