"The Wind"By Sophoan Sorn At night I feel the cool windSeeping through my skin. Here I ponder upon my gentle seat. As my eyes smileAlong with my grinning lips, My mind wanders alongYour wonder ways. I fantasize a desirable moment, Wanting you,As you're wanting me. Here, I journeyWithout a destination. In this masquerade called life,You are naked in honesty. In this lovely dance,I am dipped even deeper. But why do my desiresOvercome my reasoning? Why does love, so ordinary,Have to inquire? Why do I hopeWhen I can only feel the wind? Suddenly,A gentle touch. My eyes slowly closingAs a light breath escapes me. I feel your meandering fingersCaressing my flesh. As your arms crossOver my heart, As your lipsDance across my neck, And as your heartBeats against mine, I feel it,And I know it is there. It is there. Quote
