Celine Dion marked her 650th performance of "A New Day..." (Caesars Palace) on Friday night. Since opening on March 25, 2003, her show has attracted more than 2.5 million spectators. Dion has 75 shows left before her Dec. 15 finale. The tally of 2.5 million is what Elvis drew over 837 sold-out shows at The International (now the Las Vegas Hilton) from July 31, 1969, to Dec. 12, 1976. ...

She said "six cent quatrevingt sept (687)" done and "soixant treize (73)" to go during the TVA special. Maybe the 650 shows party was long overdue and she's going to make the 750 shows after all. I think that would break the Elvis record! I think Elvis did around 730

I counted performances...and I think she's going to end up with 733...IF she is not sick again. 750 sounds nicer lol

With few more shows to come till December, Celine definitely tops Elvis..
