I saw this last Thursday and can honestly say I was severely disappointed.

 

Don't get me wrong Johnny Depp is amazing as are all the cast but what the freaking hell is going on? There are about 10 different stories trying to merge into 1 and it all got just a bit too complicated. The battle sequences were very impressive and all but at the end of it all I couldn't help but get that familiar sequel feeling....it wasn't as good as the first one.

OMFG!! i watched the movie on sunday and i loved it ,jack and will so HOT!!!! i just i just jack is amazing, he's so funny and insane LOL, and oh all the pirats!! and the fights i didn't like the end though is it going to be a 4???if so it would be great!!!

I saw it yesterday!! I liked it much more then the 2nd part!

 

I thought it was better then I expected it to be. There are a lot of different storylines and a lot of backstabbing... they could have minamized that... but I didn't find it too complicated. The only thing I'm disappointed by is that you didn't really see Callypso making revenge on Davy Jones... I found it really cool to see his own face!! I also liked the ending... did you see the really really end... all the way at the end of the movie after the titles??? I expected something like that, I think it's a beautiful ending and they shouldn't make a 4th part... cos that would be milking it out!

I saw this movie the other night and it was horrible. There was way too many subplots and it was a huge mess. You didn't know who was good or who was bad the entire time...The battle at the end was drawn out and sort of stupid. You couldn't understand any of the Chinese pirates. It was way too long. Jack seeing multiples of himself made no sense, and it just dragged on and on. All I could think about the entire time was how much longer is this movie, and how much my butt hurt sitting there. I hated it.

yes revenge from Calypso i thought she was going to do something else ...but anyway...damn i didn't see the end of the credits/titles now i don't know what happened next i was in a hurry all that time i needed to go to the bathroom but the movie was so great that i didn't want to miss something LOL and i missed the really really end

I have watched the other 2 several times, but it still wasn't a very cohesive plot. It's a bit like the 2nd Lord of the Rings where they show each little group separate and it feels like you're watching 8 different movies. I also hated the part where they released Calypso; it was extremely anti-climactic and a huge let down. Okay she grows super huge, then screams, then turns into a bunch of crabs? WTF!? They simply had too much to explain, and too much to work into the picture. Having 14 different nationalities of pirates all of a sudden when there was no such hint in the other ones was a poor choice. There was just too much to fit in. And don't even get me started on the ending with Will...The visuals were pretty incredible throughout the movie and there was a good amount of comedy though.
