Would dress capris and nice top look stupid for the end of November? It will almost be December...I would wear nice dressy flip flops probably, but is it too cold for that? I hate covering up my feet!

I wouldn't worry about. It's a concert. Have fun. I'm sure no matter what you wear someone else will be more over or under dressed then you are.

You guys are killin' me! :giggle: :giggle:

Personally, I don't get out much so if I'm gonna spend over $200 on a ticket, I plan to bust out the 'little-black-dress' and pretend to be a big spender!! I'll save the jeans & t-shirt for the mall.

Here's me and my daughter Stacy(piglot82) the first time I went to the show.post-12511-1181101854_thumb.jpg

Enjoy the show!

don't you think that's a lil too dressy for Vegas :w00t:

May I laugh at your question?

haha why. i had the impression that there's tacky people walking around everywhere wearing hawaiian shirts, shorts and sandals. i've never been to LV so maybe you could fill me in. :glare: Edited by brasilero

Awwww...

No, you got the wrong impression from me. :P

I'm a kind person, by the way.

Vegas is like its own little world.

There are so many different places, so many things to do, so many ways to dress.

It really depends on the environment, your preference, and your opinions.

Everyone has their own unique style.

But for Celine's show, it's quite glitzy, so I think... dressing up is totally worth it.

And with regards to weather and outfits... Yes, Vegas is quite weird. Sometimes it could be SUPER HOT during the day, and SUPER COLD and WINDY at night, because it's the desert.

Posted

I think Jeans are great, you can dress the up with the right shirt/top whatever. :)

I wanna wear a simple dress for the final show!

i wonder what time of year this was in Vegas why they had to dress like that :o

For example, I was there at the end of November last year. For a few days it was warm, even hot... you know, regular summer time. Then, over night, it changed and the temperature was near the freezing point, some 4 or 5 degrees Celsius. So you can imagine I had t-shirts and sweater and coat on :giggle: Not to mention the cold wind, wind like I've never seen before, which made it much worse.

I even heard it snowed some days after we left town. So, yeah, Vegas in desert, but it's cold in the winter.

For my November and December shows i will most likely wear dresses (unless all of us decide to dress up in the same shirt - so celine notices and can distinguish us who love her so much from the "other" crowd) but at the same time i am most likely to stay at Caesars so i don't freeze my butt off in case it is really cold.

I`d say jeans are out.

A smart button-up top with smart pants is perfect !

No tux - you`ll be the odd one out.

Although I think people will be going over the top for the final show. I know I am :giggle:

Tell me you won't be doing this:

WOW...I'm still trying to process the fact that my mom is now an active member of this forum. LOL

I've worn everything from semi-casual to semi-formal. In my opinion, I think it's best to dress nice but not too formal (no ball gowns lol) and I like to stay away from too casual (shorts, t-shirts, ect...) out of respect for the artist and performers.

Here are a few pics of previous outfits:

August 2005:

Black slacks and a black and white strapless top with black heels

January 2006:

Light brown tanktop under a dark brown blouse, light brown slacks and brown heels

August 2006:

Um...The first picture that she's with a man is actually one of the dancers from "A New Day", the second picture she's with man is ME and the third picture she's with a man is ME also (just longer hair and a bit skinnier).

BTW...I'm her fiance...

I'll forgive you this time, don't let it happen again! LOL

This may sound a little bit too organized, but I plan outfits often.

As soon as I wake up, shower, and freshen up - I can escape my whities and dress up in something nice and appropriate for the whateveris happening in my day.

I already have some sketches and vision for outfits for some special events of this year, including the next three or four times that I will see "A New Day..." later this year; :) and I will be sitting down with my tailor soon for the outfits for Celine's finale. :w00t:

Two days ago, I've found some HOT pants that I will wear when I go see Celine some time this summer.

Now, the thing is... I have to find a HOT shirt to go along with it... Today, I was searching for one for a whole 45 minutes and I could not find anything in the Macy's Men store in San Francisco... :o I guess I'll hit the boutiques next time... :) I want something nice for the after-party too :mdr: OKAY, I'll say it: I WANT SOMETHING SEXY! :giggle:

Regardless, I can't believe I found the HOT pants! The sales associate said that there have been so many customers searching for them, and I guess I was aggressively rummaging through all the clothes that I just stumbled upon the pants. :D I feel lucky :)

post a pic of the "hot pants"

I usually like to wear a dressy pantsuit or somthing like that...I don`t really like dresses or skirts so I usually wear pants or whatever. For the last time I see Celine (in September ) I want to find something really HOT and Funky...I love looking kind of different like a black fedora with black dress pants, suspenders, and a black and white top. :w00t:

In Vegas? Never  I love your dresses Jennifer. I don't wear dresses, so I guess I'll have to find a really nice pair of pants and a really nice top. I love the black top Celine wears in her Et s'il n'en restait qu'une video. Does anybody know what's the designer? Or I can have my mom look at it and make me one herself, it wouldn't be the first time :giggle:

Right, because thar's what hookers are wearing these days.

I'd check the weather. If Vegas is anything like Houston, you could probably get away with that in December. We still have some nice warm days that time of year.

hey everyone.. i'm new to the forum and am just introducing myself and saying hi.. so uh.. hi.. lol. The first time i saw Celine was on her Let's talk about love tour in Denver Colorado.. i wore jeans and a t-shirt because i really didnt know what to expect.. i went with my mom and we had seats 18 rows from the stage and everyone was dressed up.. i felt out of place.. but as far as her show in vegas goes.. like many people have said just go and be comfortable and try to avoid jeans.. if you are going during the summer months(when it's hottest) shorts are probably ok.. i went last summer and wore dark tan khaki shorts and a black golf shirt.. then i went again in January and had nice black pants and a baby blue button up shirt unbuttoned showing some skin haha.. and i am going again for the July 1st show and plan on wearing shorts and a nice shirt again.. but yeah there are a lot of different people that go to see "A New Day".. fans.. non-fans.. most people just want to see a show.. whatever you wear you will be fine.. and wow that was long..

I'm not wearing thigh high leather boots and a mini skirt like Pretty Woman, so I doubt I'll look like a street hooker, but I may choose something else...just depends on the weather, whatever it is, it has got to be nice, I'm up front! If she looks at me, I'd die if I looked like crap! :giggle:

After seeing the show, most of you don't have anything to worry about. We got there early and ended up sitting on the benches over by the fake Celine and just people watched. It was one fashion victom after another. Great pre-show entertainment though.
