celinerific Posted May 16, 2007 at 08:24 PM Posted May 16, 2007 at 08:24 PM (edited) People talk about the seven wonders of the world... but do we ever just find simple interesting facts that would be interesting to know? Of course! I love learning new things. If you have anything interesting that you know, share it with us here! Did you know that the Toronto CN Tower (Toronto is where I live) gets struck by lightning 40 - 50 times (or more) annually? The tower itself is actually tilted because it has been hit so many times. If you look at it at the right angle, you can actually see that it's standing on a slant, a bit lop-sided from the rest of the city. Most of the time... or almost all the time, the tower is struck while civilians are inside it. I was on a tour of the CN Tower two summers ago and the tour guide told us that he was inside when the tower was struck by lighting and it was struck a total of seven times on the same day. http://www.collectionscanada.ca/obj/002027/f1/xx010483-v3.jpg The CN tower is on the right-hand side in this picture.http://static.flickr.com/96/205482483_fef112e25b.jpg Edited May 16, 2007 at 08:27 PM by celinerific Quote http://i58.tinypic.com/2qbub9c.png @ErikaTran | Insta: aireexwp | erikatran.com

viva_celine Posted May 18, 2007 at 01:07 PM Posted May 18, 2007 at 01:07 PM (edited) VCO (virgin coconut oil) can be in its original form (liquid) or in a softgel capsule. No wonder, among all of the trees mother nature has, only coconut has the most number of economic and scientific benefits known to mankind. Edited May 18, 2007 at 01:08 PM by viva_celine Quote
