I would have preferred the album to end with a bombastic track instead of bringing it down to Lullaby Mush again...but hey- I can live with skipping one track. The music is nice but I'll boke if I see her perform this on TV. Marc Dupre's masterpiece will do nicely to end on.

Her French albums have been always calm and there's no way they could end with a bombastic I Surrender. :laugh: :bye1 :huh:: It's like a chapter: it closes, goes to end, lets you think. Quite a handsome concept.

I disagree ma cherie. A song like SISDA or Je Chanterai for an ending maybe but not Ma Loves Her Long Haired Spawn of Lebanon...and the fact that her French albums have always BEEN calm makes me more excited by this one cos there are v few slow ballads. I don't hate Berceuse, I just would rather the tributes to RC be laid to rest. I f I hadn't heard maman t'aime repeated I would have probably said, aww, that's nice. I was twitching byy the fifth one however and glad it was only a 55 sec clip. Ok, point made! Sorry!

I have yet to decide what to think of the lyrics. We haven't heard the full text anyway. It's only 2:40 or something. I can live perfectly with that.

Nice song and this has the same lyrics as A cause right? I don't understand a word she's singing so I can't comment on the lyrical content of the songs. But the sounds, melodies and her vocals are what does her french stuff for me.

I can live with skipping one track.

 

Then you should be glad it's the final track on the album..:P

I would hate it if they put a track I don't like in the middle of an album (amidst tracks I do like).. it would be better off to put it at the end, so that way you can end the CD or start it over, without skipping it/a song..;)

I like it, but that repetition of Maman t'aime is kinda boring.. I guess I won't have patience to listen to this song every time I listen to this CD... Let's wait till Monday and see if my opinion is gonna continue like this... :shrug:

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.......... *tears* That's just so precious. That's the perfect ending to a perfect album. I CAN'T f****** WAIT TO HAVE THIS MASTERPIECE IN MY HANDS. This is exactly why I feel the 19 years I've dedicated to this woman are totaly worth it. Thank you Celine. This is why.

 

Awwww guys am I the only one who finished this one sobbing? Jesus, this one broke my heart to pieces. How beautiful is that?

I am totally obssesed with the little clip of this song, I absolutely adore it. I don't know what it is, but it makes me cry every time I hear it, I just can't help it. It seems so sad in a way and Celine's voice.... :wub:
