Where to buy D'elles in non-Francophone countries?

Up until recently I would have suggested Tower records, since they probably would have had it, but they recently closed all of their US stores. Best Buy may end up getting it at some point. With the amount of music stores dwindling it's probably easier just to buy it online.

I collect tons and tons of her albums and singles, and I still have yet to purchase "On ne change pas..." :mdr: :mdr:

Shame on me... I've still yet to purchase "The French Album", "S'il Suffisait d'aimer", "On ne change pas" .... :mdr: :mdr: but I have four different versions of "1FQT" - one from France, one red-book limited edition from France, one from Japan, and one from Argentina! :mdr: :mdr:

 

but "D'elle" - I'm in LOVE, LOVE, LOVE with "Immensité," so I'm definitely out to Virgin Megastore to purchase mine on the day of.

I'm glad I'm not the only one behind on their purchases.

 

I just pre ordered the collectors edition from the forums amazon store. I couldn't wait until payday tomorrow. I'm still going to be on the lookout in all the stores around here.

So I went to Sam Goody today and they could pre-order the import for me! So they said it would be there May 22!! So i'm EXCITED!!!

There isn't an Official US release date tho, CD.com only lists Europe and Canada. I know years ago the Virgin Megastore had Live A Paris when it was first released. I'm just undecided if I wanna order it online or just try and get to the store that week. The only thing with going to the store is that ya never know if they will actually have it since it'll be an import and you don't know which version they'll have. I want the Collectors Edition and they may only have the regular cd.

I know that Virgin Records is vary good about getting their imports on the release date. That will be my first choice, then I will go to Best Buy next if they have it too. Well people let me know how the hunt goes for you on the 22nd when the D'Elles comes out in U.S. stores.

Glad to hear! I was pretty sure they would have it, because they had On Ne Change Pas the day it was suppose to be released.

If you pre-order it from Amazon or the like, do they ship it out so you get it on the day it comes out, or do they ship it on the day it comes out and you have to wait while it ships? I might see if I can call my local Best Buy and see if it will be there, otherwise I have no choice but to get it from Amazon, but I'd rather not have to wait 3 or 4 days after while it's being mailed to me.

no, none of the french stuff is advertised here. but it's not uncommon to walk into walmart and find one or a few french cd's of celine.

Yeah, I got a few french cd's from stores here in the U.S. A L'Olympia was the very first french cd I heard, and that was at Media Play; I bought Dion Chante Plamondon at a local cd store. I bought a double greatest hits of her very early french material at the same store, too. I don't think it's promoted, but it's definitely available.

I've been listening to her French music for around 10 years now and I'm from the US and don't speak French. I love it, it's so passionate and emotional. When I saw her in Montreal, almost the entire show was in French and it was great even tho I didn't know what she was saying or singing most of the time. Some nice people next to me helped me out though.

When it comes to her French albums being promoted here in the U.S. A lot of it is done by word of mouth. I know when Celine Dion comes out with a new album. Hey Celine fans and true be leavers. Well when Tuesday came finally. I was so excited because I was going to buy D'Elles at the Best Buy near my home. So I started on my way there in the morning to get to the store when it opened. I when to the sales clerk to ask for the CD and the answer I heard wasn't the one I wanted to hear. She told me that D'Elles was moved back to the 15th of June. Well I called Virgin Records and they didn't even have it on their list of new releases at all. Now I have to wait three more weeks for D'Elles. That is a load of crap I hope you guys had better luck then I did on getting the CD.

Yeah, this album is an absolute joke to get in the U.S. I didn't have any problems whatsoever getting it when 1F4T came out. I pre-ordered it from Amazon.Fr and it came as expected and either on time, or a day after. Even the special edition. I cant find a place that will get it here before the middle of June.

it will be available in germany on the 1st of june. I hope the limited edition isgoing to be available as well. i am going to have a heart attack if i won't get one!
