remykyes Posted May 7, 2007 at 02:25 PM Posted May 7, 2007 at 02:25 PM I have an english assignment and it is to write a letter to someone telling them 3 things you have learned from the past four years (I am a Senior in High School). I want to write a letter to Celine, but I need some help! I have a few questions I need answered to get me started: - What things should I touch on in my letter? - Where should I send it?- What questions should I be asking myself as to what I have learned in the past four years? Thanks in advance!!!! Quote New Signature Coming Soon!
Cheerfuljane Posted May 7, 2007 at 04:36 PM Posted May 7, 2007 at 04:36 PM Is this an actual letter that has to be sent to Celine? It's a very open-ended subject!"What have you learnt in the past 4 years?" It could refer to things in general like:1) I learnt the art of discipline by taking martial art classes2) I learnt how to drive3) I learnt how to speak French It could be something more personal like:1) I learnt that life is short and that we should make the most of it. This could refer to a death in the family and so on.2) I learnt that I am a very good listener and am good at giving advice. Try to give explanations or examples where you can, but don't make them too long-winded. Don't forget the general rule for letter writing:1) Introduction2) Main Body3) Conclusion Quote
