I have one question about TeamCeline

Do they seriously think we're stupid or something!? Where the heck are these D'Elles songs!? They haven't put ANYTHING up since A Cause and Immensite, not even short extracts. And we're less than 3 weeks from the release (18th MAy in Switzerland).

I rather meant since these two short clips are becoming boring if you listen to them over and over again.

 

I find it preposterous that they haven't put any other previews.

I don't understand their policy anyway. They should then not promise the members "exclusive previews" in any kind. Till now I think we should have had the full album at least in extracts. I actually joined TC in hope they would give us something in advance but they seem not to care at all, just like Sony in general about Céline which is more than typical.

They probably think we're not interested. I'm guessing that the majority of TC members are English-speaking, and they're only releasing D'elles in French-speaking countries (so the rumour goes). Sony are never going to change, not now

They're always late for everything They don't update the news, they don't offer anything attractive for the fans. The website is even with the same design since 2003

Yeah, it's really frustrating.. I joined TC because of the AND tickets, but it's frustrating not to see any really exclusive things for members... They didn't even put the whole Immensité for us to listen!! But anyway, they're gonna start promoting things one week before the cd comes out the way I see it...

Sadly TeamCeline has a history of this kind of thing although they have been getting better recently. There was a period though that all you were getting, literally, each month was a new wallpaper. That kind of thing has to stop, people are paying good money for "exclusives" and they surely have lots of unreleased things to post there. Even unreleased remixes, anything! But no updates is just wrong.

I dont think we'll get album clips for the rest of the songs (like how they do it in one file) until a week before D'elles is released.....so around the 15th.

 

Honestly, I think TC is just a middle-man. They post whatever either the record company or Celine's management gives them. But I dont think they are proactive in the sense that they go to 'higher-ups' requesting things for the fans, unless the fans haggle them enough. If TC is going to be re-vamped, it needs to come from above.

 

So basically, they arent posting it because they haven't gotten it, or haven't gotten permission from the higher ups. Imo at least.

The promo CD of D'elles is LONG out, Tal. It contains 5 songs - SRNRQ en full and the rest 4 extracts. They have given us merely the two first extracts of the already available promo CD. They haven't posted Les Paradis nor Je Cherche L'ombre despite them being on the CD. It's not coincidental that the length of the extracts we got from TC corresponds with the length of the extracts on the promo CD. That's what baffles me. Their unwillingness to share what they have and they very much have them (at least the two next extracts) is not understandable considering it's a paid club.

I think TC jsut does as they're told. If they havent posted the other songs, its not because they're purposefully holding out on us. Its because they havent gotten the word from their superiors...whoever that is. Once they get the word, they'll post it. They might even have a schedule for it.
