"Celine" on MAD TV

"Celine" was on MAD TV. The actress that played her was mediocre. The accent was good but that was about it. They really made fun of her! They had her thinking Martin Luther King was still alive, and that assasinated was a religion. Then she was singing "I have a dream that one day, all the little children, black and white. will play with each other in America like they do in Canadaaaaaaaaaaaa and then she was making all of these faces. LOL. I was waiting for her to pound her chest, but she never did. She apologized to Mrs. King for her loss, saying that it's unfortunate that MLK didn't live to witness her sing and look gorgeous. They had her sitting in a swing and saying how beautiful and gorgeous and popular she is. SOOOOOO not Celine! Edited by karatedude317

Yes, and there will be another sketch with "Céline" on March, 2nd ("Celine Dion shows her wild side") on MAD TV.  :)

I'd like to see it, too.  :(

Will that one be new? the one I saw was a re-run on Comedy Central.

I'd like to see the "wild side" one, that's gotta be good!!

Is this the one when "Celine" had her own talk show? And she said that Barabra S. was supposed to be there, but she had the "flue?" :confused1: I saw that a few years ago (I think in 2003). There are more?

JOEL, it was entitled Celine Dion's Martin Luther King Special. It was on MAD from time to time, I didn't see all of them I caught it in the middle so I'm not sure if it's the one you were talking about. I don't think it was the one from 2003 because reference was made to "Touched By an Angel" in another sketch, and that show hasn't been on in a few years (that was my favorite show when I was a kid!)

If the MAD TV sketch that is to air on March 2nd is new, it won't be on Comedy Central, it will be on FOX. I think it goes on Friday nights

SORRY JOEL, SATURDAY NIGHTS ON FOX FIVE! March 2nd is a rerun probably on Comedy Central. Tues-Fri 7:30 PM. Hope this helps! I hope I remember to catch it. lol

We might kiss when we are alone... When nobody's watching... We might take it home... We might make out... When nobody's there... It's not that we're scared... It's just that it's delicate... We might live like never before... When there's nothing to give... Well how can we ask for more... We might make love in some sacred place... The look on your face is delicate

The actress that played Celine is Nicolle Sullivan and she's amazing... I mean it's very good, making fun of her, but amazing I love that sentence: Oh he's dead? You know what's worst? He wont be able to listen to Céline singing anymore...

LOLOLOL... I had best of times when I saw that here in Portugal... :mdr: :lmao:

Well, I know that madtv is a funnny show. It's even my favorite comedy show. Though I have to admit, this is rated PG. :)

BUt i don't think we should feel bad about it 'cos we know that they're just making jokes to everyone else, like President Bush. :)
