Céline's Blues Posted April 20, 2007 at 11:33 AM Posted April 20, 2007 at 11:33 AM It's her best song hands down down down. Absolutely no competition. Watching her movements as she lipped (LOL) the words to the song I mean it was fantastic! It's her best playback performance ever! She has done so many crap songs but if you listen to 100 bad songs by her and to only this one all is forgiven automatically. I mean every single Veneruso note, every single Max Martin note is forgotten. All that counts is her passion you see in this song. So true! And the most ironical thing is the presenter said to the camera: "Well, Céline made us a present by singing this song.... now here we have her new Xmas album" LOL! One can only hope that IF she meant that her upcoming tour will be that different then she'll include this song to the set list. Quote http://i.imgur.com/dmreJ.jpg

leenylover Posted April 21, 2007 at 08:52 PM Posted April 21, 2007 at 08:52 PM You know, I really think it is a talent in itself being able to lip-sync like that. As far as I am aware outside of threcording studio that was her one and only public appearance with that song, and must have a fair while after it was recorded. Yet she still managed to get every word, every ad-lib and every expression spot on! Either Celine spends a ridiculous amount of time practising these songs to get them perfect, or she has an amazing memory. Personally, from observations I have made over the years and from things I have read from other fans, I believe she has an unusually good memory. Either way, it's good to see her "performing" that song, it would be interesting to hear a live enterpretation, though I love the studio version very much. Zora Posted April 21, 2007 at 09:02 PM Posted April 21, 2007 at 09:02 PM It baffles me why she never does it live, it could be superb and would be interesting to see how it varies from the recording. She looks beautiful though, apart from the luminous teeth It really is one of her most stunning songs, gives me chills every time. Quote LIFE BEGINS WITH LOVE

Love Lisaxxx Kind of see your point but I don't think any singer should be able to make lip-syncing into an artform. Mrs.Goldman Posted April 23, 2007 at 12:01 PM Posted April 23, 2007 at 12:01 PM it's funny because we discussed this performance on the israeli forum a few days ago and i thouhgt it was horrid! I see the audience adores her (wel duh!) but what's with the saluting and the smiling in the begining? and the laso hand movements in the "yeah yeah" part?! :S Quote http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v68/CallingYou/shadowoflovesig-1.jpg
