Jim just had to mention... Celine...

I just came back from a Jim Brickman concert (America's Sensational Romantic Pianist)

He's the one who collaborated with Martina McBride on "Valentine" and Jordan Hill/Billy Porter on "Destiny" and he's collaborated with the most elite in entertainment.

 

I was suprised that he's only mentioned two other singers besides his performance partner, Anne Cochran. He mentioned about his wonderful collaboration with Herb Alpert, and then Anne spoke of how Jim is only one hit behind Celine, and that now he's tied with her. The local radio show host mentioned on broadcast that Celine has 24 hit songs? Maybe he meant within his station? Anyway, Jim said something about being happy to have something like Celine.

 

Anyway, for those of you who get stoked when someone (especially someone famous) mentions Celine, add this to your list!

 

 

 

 

P.S. He was a fabulous performer. I thoroughly enjoyed the concert of his beautiful piano performances and the vocal performances of Anne Cochran. He was incredibly hilarious - great humor and charm. He performed some of my favorite Brickman music, even a medley of Disney songs, a medley of some of his greatest love songs, and I led the auditorium to a standing ovation towards the end; and he performed the greatest encore... the song that I have waited for so many years to hear live - "Angel Eyes." :wub: This will be one of the piano solo compositions that I will be performing in an upcoming benefit concert.
