we'll consider your advice, and make sure the logo we take will look nice on video, we don't need to use it hurriedly.

Haha, ok, I didn't ask of you to like any Even I don't like it, so.

 

Well, as I thought you explained to me before, I thought you were looking for some kind of water mark for the video files, so that no one can steal them, and they were not to be small signs in the corner since they could easily been cut out. I think it is sad to do that coz it ruins the picture... but I also see your thing about others stealing your stuff... sad.

 

I hope you'll find someday something that will let people know the stuff came from you, without spoiling the experience of watching.

yes, we are looking for some kind of watermark for the video files, looks like a TV Channel logo. that's why we want it small and elegant, so it won't be annoy. and the background must be transparent too, so it won't look weird on video.

 

and this logo will become the logo to present our channel, website, forum. maybe we'll add it everywhere, so we must be carefully to choose it too. if no logo is good enough, we prefer to wait longer for one can really present the concept, value and quality of our channel, website, forum.

to add to Bellamy's message, the watermark will appear on a corner, preferably on the lower right. This won't be too annoying if it's transparent and descreet (small) and stay throught the duration of the video. Our urls will still rotate but will appear less if a watermark is present.

I need to update this contest because I finally figured out what we really wanted. First, I need to apologize to all the guys who tried to make logos for us. We need to change the logo guidelines. As a result, all the previous logos have to be disqualified. Sorry again. and thank you all very much for your effort. You could make new logos for us as described below.

 

NEW Logo Guidelines:

- dimensions of about 200x200 pixels for each entry, and the winner need to provide us a better resolution .PSD or .TIF file like 1000x1000 or even greater. Because we may need to use large size logo for other purposes such as for high resolution scans...

- logo should look like a TV logo. something like the pic below:

- graphic color must be white (255,255,255), background must be transparent gif format, no animation. but when you post to enter contest. graphic color do NOT need to be white (255,255,255) and background don't need to be transparent. Bause it'll be hard to check what it looks like. we just need graphic color to be white (255,255,255) and background to be transparent to fit in the videos. so we can make it look half transparent like the sample above.

- design more than one logo if you wish.

- must be creative, good looking, simple and represent Celine Channel well since it will appear on future videos and other areas.

Here's a very ugly sample I made to give you some idea. You don't need to use my idea. However, we do require you to put "Celine Channel" text in the logo like in the sample provided. You can change any other parts in the sample to make it look creative, good looking and professional.

I'm really not good at PS, so please don't take this very ugly logo seriously. I just want to give you an idea of what we want.

Thanks. but I think it's too complex for our logo. I think we need a Black & White logo only, to make it looks simple on video, so it won't be too annoy.
