Has anyone else ever met Anne-Marie?

I met Rene's daughter Anne-Marie a few years ago and she was very rude and unfriendly, which i was very suprised because she always seemed so nice the few times I had seen her on tv or in pictures, and she seems to be pretty close to Celine so i wouldn't expect that. So I just wanted to know if anyone else had met her, and their impressions?

I would be surprised if it was someone in Celine's immediate family. From my experience of meeting Celine's brother, Michel, I was floored by how incredibly nice he was...he was an angel just like Celine. Anne-Marie on the other hand, never met her. But oh well, no on is perfect I guess, well except for Celine and her mother and siblings

However I met her at the Molsen Centre after Celine tapped a show, I met Celines both parents that night (they were so sweet) as well & her brother Michel (who i already said was super nice), but when I met Anne-Marie me & my friend said hi & she looked the other way & didn't even respond... her husband who was with her i guess saw this so he looked at us and said how are you, and then she looked at him and rolled her eyes. I know she's not famous & she's not obligated to be nice to Celine's fans, but I don't think that gives her an excuse to be rude... I mean we were just saying hi... we weren't asking for an autograph or anything.

Let's just assume she was tired and wanted to go home badly I guess she has to deal a lot with that and I can imagine sometimes you don't feel like it LOL I encountered a niece of Céline once (pure coincidence) and she wasn't very happy to see me and my friends (also Céline fans) either... Some people are just not good at handling this kind of attention If my sister or brother was as famous as Céline I'd go crazy LOL.

I don't think theres ever an excuse to be rude to fans unless of course they are invading your space. if she was out at a store or in a restaurant then i can understand her being annoyed... but she was at a celine concert... so its to be expected that she is going to get some kind of attention! I've never met her but like some other people said she was probably just having a bad day. If you had met her at another time things may have been better, at least her husband was nice enough to say hello. She is married to a celebrity herself, so she must be used to the attention. Unfortunately it's the kind of thing that leaves a bad taste in your mouth when it happens. Luckily it seems that most people that have met Celine or people in her show, etc. seem to have good experiences.

I don't like rudeness either. But we have to understand she is not the star and we're not her fans. We're Celine fans. She doesn't owe has anything, she does not have an obligation to be nice to us. She was in a Celine concert, who is her stepmother and she has the right to attend the concert without being "bothered" with Celine fans.

LOL 1st of all....Yes I am "SURE" she was Anne-Marie, unless of course she has an identical twin that was at Celine's show that was also walking with a man that looks identical to her husband, Marc Dupre as well.

 

And 2nd of all. I'll tell the story... again ... but w/ more specific details i guess. My friend & I were leaving the Molson Centre and we saw Anne-Marie & her husband leaving one of the stage doors and getting into a black SUV. They were walking out the same time as we were walking toward them & we made eye contact & I reconzed her so i smiled & said "hi Anne-marie" and she turned her head and looked the other way, trying to pretend that she didn't hear me, her husband looked at her and then looked at us and smiled at us & said "hi how are you". then she precended to roll her eyes and hurry into the truck. to me i take that as being rude.... but if you think thats an appropriate way to respong to people, hey whatever floats your boat buddy

 

Ok and my final point is...once again I do understand that just because Celine is famous, Anne-Marie isn't obligated to be nice to celine's fans or whatever, but not for nothing not only is her step-mother, father & husband famous.... but if my memory serves me right, not too long ago she did a t.v. special with her husband and she performed songs from the movie "grease", and also awhile back I remember Rene saying that she recorded a demo & was interested in possibly someday recording a record! so for someone who doesn't want to be in the "spotlight".. she sure has a funny way of showing it then!

I've met her 3 times and she was rude only once.. At the baptem of Rene-Charles.. Her husband had huge money problem and she was pregnant of 8 months and they were hidding from the photograph and they never smile..

I've met her last year at the launching of the album and she was very nice, very shy too but nice

And i've met her 1 month ago at the Musicographie of René and she was correct!

I had met Anne Marie's husband Marc Dupre and he was very nice so I'm sure that his wife is too! By the way Marc Dupre is an awsome performer and I suggest that everyone see him!
